In 2025, like earlier in 2023 and 2024, we have again stayed several times in Lounge Hotel in Tuzla / Istanbul. Our experiences have been very positive anew. For a more extensive evaluation, I refer to my review of 8 January 2025. This assessment can be found in this thread too and has been considered by several users as helpful. Therefore, here, I will limit myself to the main issues. 1) The personnel is very hospitable and friendly. Professional behaviour and pleasant and fast communication. 2) The breakfast is excellent. Starts early and surely filling. Large choice of fresh and tasty products. 3) The location is hugely practical. Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen airport nearby (20-25 minutes). 2 Marmaray commuter rail stations within walking distance (400m) in order to directly reach Sultanahmet (main tourist attractions) within 45 minutes. Safe neighbourhood and various shops and eateries in the vicinity of the hotel. 4) The rooms are nice. Hot water always available in the bathroom and good beds present. Cleanliness of the hotel ensured by the staff in a very decent manner. We are highly satisfied with our various stays in Lounge Hotel in Tuzla / Istanbul for 3 years already. Hence, we can clearly recommend this hotel to other guests. Happy new year and keep up the good work in 2026 and beyond! Nothing.

Only stayed one night, lay over, close to airport (Sabiha).

The furniture is very old.

The situation was stressful and negatively affected our stay. The room was also below expectations — very small, with a broken sink, ineffective air conditioning, and constant noise from the street

Nothing actually, the only good thing was the hotel manager who could speak in English to address the issues with the rooms. The receptionist was a rude person who was denial of faults in the facilities, including AC and wifi and uncomfortable room. He was even denying to listen to his manager over the phone, do jot know his name but the receptionist on shift on 26 June 2025 needs to be reconsidered for his involvement in the hotel, he was even lying to his manager when I was trying to complain about rooms issue. Scorching room, AC was not working even when I made them to show me three other rooms. I was sweating inside the room. No wifi and the receptionist was denial of the wifi was not working, had to again ask him to call his manager who could speak English to address the issue. Not proper ventilation in the bathroom. Smelly bathroom. Not really clean rooms. I had to move out of the room to force them to show me another room. Took me 3 hours to settle in a room with decent state.

We absolutely loved everything about this hotel! The room felt fresh and clean, and we had a beautiful view of the sea from the window. Breakfast was outstanding — everything was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. What touched us the most was the warm and thoughtful hospitality: we were kindly offered coffee, and our son received a lovely storybook as a gift — such a sweet gesture. We left with the warmest impressions. Highly, highly recommend! ❤️❤️❤️

I came from the airport, it is close, about 10 minutes. The sea view was nice. The receptionists and other employees were polite and helpful. The breakfast restaurant was spacious and the open buffet was quite diverse. I think I will choose it again when I come to Pendik. Thank you for everything.

In both 2023 and 2024, we have stayed several times in Lounge Hotel in Tuzla / Istanbul. Overall, our experiences have been very positive. 1) The breakfast is a very strong point. There is a wide choice of fresh and tasty products. When something seems to run out, it is being supplemented quickly. Besides, hot items are also being served to each individual guest. Furthermore, the view (Sea of Marmara) from the breakfast room at the top floor is fantastic. 2) The location is very practical. Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen airport is reachable within 20-25 minutes by taxi (present in 5 minutes) for reasonable prices. Within walking distance (400m), 2 Marmaray commuter rail stations are present. Sultanahmet (main tourist attractions) can be reached directly within 45 minutes. Pendik YHT (high-speed train) station is only 2 Marmaray stops away. The neighbourhood of the hotel is safe. Various shops and eateries and the Neomarin Shopping Centre are within walking distance too. 3) The personnel is very friendly and helpful. Although not everyone speaks English well, this is absolutely not a problem. Everything can be managed without particular difficulties. Also online, communication has run extremely well and in very good English. Answers were being provided very fast and possible unnecessary misunderstandings were already being avoided beforehand. 4) The rooms are clean and nice. Beds are good and hot water is always available. Air conditioning works very well. It is also very handy that a fridge is present and free tea, coffee and water (in bottles) are being provided. 5) A huge compliment for Lounge Hotel and its personnel is that a big and delicious sandwich was provided for each one of us every time when we had an early flight. As we could not be present at the breakfast, this was very pretty. We are very satisfied with our stays in Lounge Hotel in Tuzla / Istanbul. Therefore, we can definitely recommend this hotel to other travellers. Keep up the good work! Nothing.
