The Port Guzelyali Hotel

A pleasant, budget-friendly hotel located very close to the seaside.

A study table would be useful. Breakfast is too late.

Absolutely nothing good in there, unsafe place for families with staff that can not guarantee their customer safety . Dangerous place Staff doesn't understand English, we got assaulted by three men that invaded our room and staff did nothing to support us, even expelled us in the middle of the night

Close to SAW airport and train station to city centre is 3 mins walk. Nice and clean rooms and lobby.

Near the train and sea like it Bulding is new but outside sound coming in the room double glazing windows not working well

The climate didn't work

reasonably priced for an overnight stay (I needed to sleep between flights from SAW airport); very good quality for the price; modern and spacious room; efficient wi-fi; perfect bathroom; clean and comfortable, silent despite a major road below the hotel it was hard to negotiate with the receptionist about payment, he wanted to charge me in Turkish Lira although the reservation said I will be charged in Euros, in the end I had to pay in cash to avoid bad exchange rate by my bank via credit card; not easy to find the hotel when coming on foot

These five stars are the most honest and well-deserved I’ve ever given. Let me tell you why. I stayed at this hotel twice, both times for an overnight stop. However, my second visit turned out to be quite an adventure. After a long flight from Asia, I was so exhausted that, on my way from the airport, I accidentally left my backpack in the taxi. Inside the backpack were two laptops, which were extremely important to me. To make matters worse, I had another flight the next day, leaving me with just 10 hours to recover my belongings. Luckily, Egemen was working at the reception that day. Despite his shift being over and him getting ready to head home, he offered to help me. Egemen went with me to the airport, located the taxi company’s management, and managed to identify the car's number. He also arranged with the taxi service manager for the driver to bring the backpack directly to the hotel. A short time later, the driver arrived with my backpack! Not only did I recover my items, but I also made it to my flight on time. Egemen truly saved the day. His professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond left an unforgettable impression on me. As for the hotel itself, it’s brand new, with spotless rooms and modern furniture. The location is another major advantage: it’s conveniently close to the airport, making it perfect for layovers. The area also has plenty of supermarkets and several good, affordable restaurants. For instance, I really enjoyed having breakfast at Pendik Belediyesi Güzelyalı Sosyal Tesisleri, which I highly recommend. To sum up, this hotel combines excellent service, a convenient location, and great comfort. I wholeheartedly recommend it!
