Location and staff! Ali’s restaurant recommendations were great and he helped me set up a wonderful hammam experience. Everyone was so considerate. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Istanbul and the location and staff of Seatanbul had a lot to do with it!

The shower drain did not work properly at the hotel. And the staff did not fix it. The shower was not clean either. There is no elevator in the hotel, so if you're staying on the top levels, its not very convenient to get upstairs. The staff definitely wanted a tip for everything, even allowing snacks into the room.

They seem to be running the property more like a hostel, you have a place to stay, but basic amenities aren’t provided, not even something as simple as a bottle of water.

Perfectly located, offers all the basics without any issues with a very friendly staff 24/7. Accessible to the bay and walkable distance to everything in Istanbul that tourists come for.

My one complaint is that it’s more than 10 minute walk to the main tram stop that takes you to most of the rest of the city (e.g., the ferry, the train station).
