Location was perfect - steps away from the tram station (which I missed in the dark!) and close to the Kennedy waterfront walk. The hotel upgraded my room! (from the room next to the kitchen) The staff were kind and friendly, offering coffee/tea/water on my arrival. I mention this especially because I hadn't done my homework to learn that Istanbul's tap water isn't safe to drink, so I really appreciated the bottled water from the hotel - especially since the next hotel I stayed at DIDN'T offer the same courtesy! Google Maps led me astray trying to find the hotel in the dark, but that was hardly the hotel's fault. The only criticism I would add is that there were no screens on the window, so some mosquitoes came in.

My stay in this hotel was incredible and exceeded my expectations. It is in the ideal locations if you want to visit all of the major sites in the Sultanahmet area (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, and Topkapi Palace) as it is within a 2-5 minute walk of all of those sites. It is also about a 4 minute walk to the ocean if you walk in the opposite direction of all major sites. What made this hotel even better was the manager/owner. He speaks incredible english and really wants his guests to be comfortable and have an amazing time in Istanbul. I booked a basic room but for the second half of my stay he upgraded me to a much better room free of charge. This was my first time visiting Turkiye and I was a solo female traveler. I felt incredibly safe in this hotel and with the host and he really tried to help me have an amazing time; there were a number of times he would give me fresh local food to try when I would come back to the hotel for the day. He also is more than happy to help you map out your trip and give you recommendations for the best food and what places he believes deserve your time and attention. I plan on going back to Istanbul in the future and when I do I will 100% be staying at this hotel as I know I will be treated with the most respect and will have the best stay. There is also someone at the front desk 24/7 so you never have to worry about being without some type of help whether its checking out early or needing some type of assistance.

Central location, just behind the Hagia Sofia Square. The rooms were clean and recently refurbished. The staff welcoming. The place is actually rooms to sleep. There are no facilities tthat make this place a hotel. It's an old building changed into a hospitality facility. So, don't expect anything more than a decent place to sleep and have a shower in the center of Istanbul.

I really enjoyed my stay at Seaway Hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are very kind and helpful. Breakfast is not included, but it’s nice that they offer free coffee, tea, and water anytime. Including breakfast would make the experience even better. It is on perfect location. Close to everything. You come to rest a few hours in your room. Room and bathroom were clean. We had housekeeping every day

Just a few steps from Hagia Sofia. The room is super clean, and the bed is very comfortable. The owner is very accommodating and helpful, and he gave us an upgrade as well. If ever I'm coming back to istanbul, definitely staying here again. Everything is excellent.
