The Turkish style breakfast was wonderful. The view from the roof top breakfast room is stunning. The front desk staff is very personable. We felt welcomed every time we came in and left. The bed was comfortable. The room looked freshly painted. Nice flooring. Every time we came into our room (403) our noses started running. There was also a smell in the room. Perhaps someone previously had smoked? We would open the windows to air out the room which helped a little. But it was cold out, so eventually we would have to close it. Each time we came back to the room over 4 days, it would affect our allergies. This hasn’t happened in other accommodations before. In hind sight, since we stayed for 4 nights, we should have asked to move rooms, but it seemed like a hassle. We just assumed it would get better with the window open. It never did. The other unfortunate situation was the prearranged airport pickup through the hotel. We had arranged it 6 weeks prior to arrival. The hotel had sent the instructions when booked on where to pick up the shuttle in WhatsApp. We don’t personally use WhatsApp a lot when we are in the United States. I had forgotten we had communicated that way on the day of our flight. 7 hours before we flew into Istanbul I contacted the hotel through booking.com to confirm we had booked a shuttle. I had notes that I had booked one, but couldn’t find any communication in my email, on booking.com or through texts. No reply from the hotel. I sent another message through booking.com 1.5 hours later explaining that we were boarding our flight and wanted to confirm the airport pickup. No reply. When we landed 4 hours later I contacted again, still no reply. When we left baggage claim I looked for someone holding a sign with our name, or the name of the hotel. No one there. So I messaged the hotel again asking if they had arranged a shuttle that we had found alternative transportation, and please let the driver know so they aren’t waiting for us. Not a big deal. There are great public bus options at the airport. We got a direct bus (Hvist-11) to our hotel (5 minute walk to the hotel from the drop off spot) for $8 per person. It was very comfortable and was pretty quick.

Location and view from rooftop. Nothing

Guys, on reception, amazing. They help with everything from 1st second we came to hotel. It's feels like we have known each other for a very long time . Very very friendly ❤️ Pick up, drop off whatever you need. Breakfast is very good. Definitely will stay with them again.

The room was large and clean. The attached bathroom functioned well with a very good shower. Breakfast on the rooftop offered a wonderful view of the city. The location was walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. The bed was not comfortable. It was firm and the bedding was not very soft.

Great hotel in great location. I was able to walk to main sites and many restaurants lose by. Everything was very clean. Great terrace with good breakfast buffet. Staff was very nice and helpful. Nothing

Great location and nice staff. Bed is too small.

Perfect location. It's a simple walk to the mosques and only a 15 min walk to the Grand Bazaar. The staff was amazing -- super helpful and attentive! They helped us book a Bosphorus boat cruise and a Turkish Hamam experience (don't miss it!). A huge thanks to Ismail, Zahid and Delik -- they were amazing. Highly recommend!

Superb

Superb breakfasts with water views. Loved the location, so close to Topkapi, Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque. Courteous and helpful staff. Great value for money. Our room was a good size but would have been improved by having a small table and chair. There was a space where one could go. The walls in our room were blank: need art or maybe wall hangings - carpet or fabric.

The location was outstanding, the building was charming, one staff member particularly was very friendly and helpful (thank you, Dilek!), the room was simple but very nice, and the breakfast was great. It was nothing fancy, but for the price, we were thrilled with our stay. I wish there could have been a few more warm options for breakfast, such as scrambled eggs, but overall there were many delicious things to eat, so that is just a personal preference.

Excellent location, five minutes walk from the Hagia Sophia mosque and the T1 tramstop. Breakfast was generous with wonderful views over the Bosphorus from the rooftop terrace - there is an enclosed section if it is cold or wet. No complaints!

The location could not have been better; Close to several good restaurants and to the main historical sites of Istanbul. The staff were wonderful, they could not have been more helpful. The breakfast room had superb views across the Bosphorus. The breakfast had a wide choice of food from cornflakes to olives and cheese. Everything was excellent

Location is perfect. Breakfast was good as well as the room. Unfortunately the weather was a bit cold and wet, and than you miss a lobby. However, if the weather is good, you can sit on the rooftop terrace.

We really enjoyed the breakfast.there was a lot of options to eat. The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. The room we stayed in was comfortable and nice. The terrase where we eat has a really nice view and we spent our evenings drinking coffee.

We were very nicely welcomed by Dilek who assisted our arrival with great professionalism. All the reception staff and the breakfast staff were very kind and attentive. The hotel is very nice and breakfast on the terrace is a luxury. The breakfast was excellent and supplied more than we were accustomed to. The beds and the room were very comfortable. The great assets of this hotel is its location: (1) You can pick up tickets at Haiga Sophia and Topkapi before the line starts return for breakfast and then skip the line or the extra skip the line payments.(2) It's located in a very touristic and busy area, but the street itself is quiet (3) Zahid is the hotel's secret weapon to make you feel you are staying at a 5 star palace! No chance we will stay anywhere else when returning to Istanbul. Istanbul is astonishingly beautiful. But the air quality is poor. The fact that the hotel is located at a higher elevation makes that you ca not feel it there. Also, the area is a big restaurant scam, so you need to choose wisely where you eat. Visits at monuments and museums are very expensive. The hotel location helps much here again.
