Hotel Fasano Sao Paulo Itaim

Comfortable rooms, great location For a luxury hotel at this price level, Fasano has a few minor flaws that in aggregate are not so minor. But there is nothing bad enough to male it a capital sin.

Fasano has been my favourite hotel brand in Brasil for years. The new hotel in Itaim brings the same unique Brazilian design and vibe to the neighbourhood of Itaim. The team is amazing, including the concierge (especially Denis) for providing a professional and personalised service that I have not experienced elsewhere. Loved it (and can’t wait to be back!).

Good location, decent room Not what I expect from a Fasano hotel, or from any luxury hotel. Arrived at 4pm and we were told my room wasn't ready. We were told to wait at the lounge and tea was going to be brought. No tea after 30 minutes. Room as ready at 5:30pm. No excuses given. We went out around 7pm in the evening and asked the doorman/bellboy for help with getting a taxi. We were simply told there were no taxis around. We walked one block and there were 4 taxis parked at a taxi station. The room was stylish but jammed with furniture, one could hardly walk around. A round table was too high for chairs too low. Very strange room setup overall. No water kettle, no iron (we asked for one and they tried hard to sell us their pressing service at something like $50 a piece). Bathroom had no hooks for towels and robes. No kleenex, etc. Noise isolation was terrible. We could hear cars and boles roaring outside all night long - it's a busy gastronomy street. We could hear a couple having sex on room next door. One could hear from the corridor too, at another room. We expressed several other observations and complaints to staff a front desk, but they weren't very interested in feedback. Overall, the younger members of the staff were clearly not well trained, or in the wrong line of business. one who came to deliver food in our room didn't know how to open a wine bottle. Some of the more veteran staff (at bar and restaurant) were very good and professional. The heavily tattooed and pierced barwoman made good drinks but she look very out of place in what is supposed to be a very classy bar. In sum, a lot was wrong for a hotel of this price and category. Very disappointing.

Hard to fault this hotel. That i had to pay for breakfast. Most of the staff couldn't speak english, but the service levels were great.

Definitely the location The reception staff wasn't that friendly... and when I call from the room most often they didn't pick up and not called back.

The staff we're incredible. Since you arive, they do everything to serve you well! I really appreciate the waiters on the breakfast, they´re lovely! The fitness center is amazing!!!!
