Cache House

Because the hostel is in the basement, it seemed that the sleeping area and bathrooms had very little ventilation. The sleeping area became pretty stuffy at night. The fan helped, but only so much. The bathrooms were clean, but after a shower, I essentially had to get dressed in a steam room because there wasn't enough ventilation to clear the humidity. The shower rooms were also frequently wet, with very limited places to put your belongings. A small bench or chair would make a huge difference so guests don't have to put their bags on the floor or on the toilet seat cover. (My toothbrush took a tumble onto the toilet, so... yikes.) A bench near the lockers would also be helpful for putting on shoes and organizing bags. I also noticed the main doors were often propped open during the day, presumably because of the lack of ventilation, meaning anyone could potentially walk directly into the hostel. There is an additional amenities fee, which I'm not really sure what covered beyond a "free" coffee and the potential use of one of five bikes shared by the entire hotel and hostel. Overall, clean and comfortable, but given the price, I expected a little more. Better ventilation and a few simple additions would make a big difference.

Clean and quiet, comfortable bedding, lots of showers, ample storage space for large backpacks and duffels, excellent location.

The beds are comfortable, plenty of clean showers and toilets, good wifi, nice common room to sit down and relax, good location near the centre. Difficult to find at first, I didn’t see/read anywhere that Cache House is part of Anvil.

Budget friendly option in Jackson. No complaints.

Bear spray was released and all people had to leave the place at midnight . The manager said we will be refunded and so far I have not received the refund.

Hubo un incidente durante una noche, en la que un huésped disparó (espero que por error) su spray de osos y tuvimos que evacuar el lugar y perder la posibilidad de dormir allí. El mánager nos trató amablemente pero no pudo hacer nada más que un reembolso y ofrecernos direcciones de otros hospedajes para probar suerte con las vacantes. No cuenta con estacionamiento propio y en general no hay problema para dejar vehículos en la calle o en estacionamientos públicos siempre que se respeten los horarios. Por el dinero que sale una noche aquí, no repetiría y buscaría otra alternativa aunque sea levemente más costosa, vale la diferencia.

Obviously a great rate for Jackson. Bunks were comfortable, quiet. If you are on an upper bunk go slow up and (especially) down. Plenty of restrooms and showers, but first served. I needed coffee first thing (4am) so I went to Jug and Loaf convenience market about 2 miles away and got a cup. Fans and light in each bunk area was nice. All in all a great bargain.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here on a Saturday night. Between the people who come in late from partying and the people that get up early to go explore nature, you won’t get any sleep.

Great place to stay especially in Jackson hole. So central and good for budget friendly option.

Amazing location, clean and very quiet considering people were either there to hike early in the morning or go out late at night. Would definitely recommend staying here, it feels very private and comfortable!
