The Wentworth

The art on the walls features local subjects and is largely by local artists. There are fresh flowers EVERYWHERE. A pantry where guests can get complimentary drinks and snacks throughout the day. Also complimentary, reusable water bottles in the room that the guests can keep. A black washcloths so if you wear makeup, it doesn’t stain the towels. These touches, and many more, make The Wentworth luxurious, in my book. If you stay, absolutely DO NOT MISS Jackson Falls, which is right across the street.

What a wonderful facility! A beautiful old resort well appointed while honoring its past. The staff, food and location are magnificent.

It was our first time at the Wentworth and we loved it! We would definitely go back. :)

Breakfast was excellent each day. Dinner was also great. Enjoyed the stay.

The property was beautiful, the room was a little small and the bathroom was outdated but for an INN it was expected. The restaurants were very good and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was friendly and polite and helped with anything needed. Wish there was a little more food options on the menu for gluten free diets.

Our package included a superb breakfast, choice of hot items and/or continental, including house made yogurt and pastries. Nothing.

Loved this property! We only stayed one night but wished we had more time to stay longer! The whole atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

Such a great place right next to the river and a short walk to the falls. The staff were the best. We will be back

Property was great. Enjoyed a swim in Jackson falls which is within walking distance. Had an issue with the sofa bed in our room but the front desk staff provided us with a new room which we appreciated. The hotel is charming and we enjoyed dinner with our two teens in the tavern onsite and played tennis but the court did not look like it’s been used very much. Breakfast was perfect and staff is very good as well.

The hotel is beautiful. The staff was excellent. I was traveling alone and felt perfectly comfortable. I had dinner in the tavern the first night and sat at the bar being alone that is more comfortable for me, the bartender was very friendly and kept a conversation going. The room was beautiful, comfortable. and very clean. I did not get to use the spa it was closed for repair. I did however use the pool and it was very clean not crowded suprisingly for a very hot day very refreshing. I would definitely visit again

Great for my family! Kids loved the bunk beds in the Amster suites!

Room is nice, clean, but we were in the side house which does not have an elevator. Food is good, although we had to wait for almost 30 min to get the final bill. But we both agree food is excellent for dinner. Breakfast was nice, but not as nice as last year since it became a buffet. Overall we still like it a lot.

Superb

The staff at Wentworth went beyond expectations to give that extra that made the experience memorable. The grounds are beautiful and attention to keeping the inn feeling comfortable by providing sitting and relaxing areas in the main inn is a plus. Love the front porch and enjoyed the heated pool. The easy and amazing walk to the Jackson Falls is a not to be missed - this nature healing gently brings in the power of NH's forest and beauty. In the White Mountains of NH every road is another adventure and the Wentworth is your comfort zone. Just a little bit more attention to cleaning.

Grand hotel with superb staff

The elevator was broken for two days which was an issue for us on third floor.. my spouse has cardiac issues and I have recently had a hip replacement. Also I requested a chair for the room which never came. The vault in the room was unusable..On the positive, the food including breakfast was delicious, pantry stacked, pool great, hotel beautiful.

We also loved the outdoor heated pool. The staff truly went above and beyond—when one staff member overheard me mention that the pool felt a little cool, he immediately increased the temperature. That level of attentiveness really stood out. Breakfast was included each morning, and every meal was delicious. I highly recommend the crème brûlée French toast—it was absolutely incredible! Another unexpected treat was the pantry, located in a separate building. It was such a wonderful complement to our stay, stocked with complimentary soda, water, coffee, tea, and snacks throughout the day. The homemade blueberry ice cream was amazing, and the warm afternoon cookies were the perfect indulgence. From the beautiful accommodations to the outstanding staff and thoughtful amenities, every detail made our stay memorable. We can’t wait to come back!
