The food was over priced and just ok
-
Swimming pool, ocean front Staff sometimes lacking attention to detail
-
nothing

The restaurants at the resort are decent, but you’ll find much better options if you venture outside. Also, the resort’s transportation is pretty expensive, just grab an Uber instead and save yourself a lot of money.

Pools Food was just ok

needs renovation, FandB value for money did not match

The staff and facility were amazing.
-
Room smelled musty
-
The restaurants are a bit overpriced, e.g. a buffet breakfast costs 40 USD.
-
i like the resort I liked everything
-
I liked the layout of the resort and the restaurants were good. The staff was attentive and kind. I didn’t like the beach so much as I am use to Florida white sand beaches.
-
breakfast was great, people treatment awesome and the facilities great we enjoy a lot The pillow could be improved it and the regrigerator was locked

The gardens are just amazing — full of nature, peaceful, and the perfect place to relax without crowds. The daily activities are a most. Great! Our stay was made even better thanks to our room cleaner, Diana Navarro. Every day she went above and beyond, leaving the room spotless, creating beautiful towel decorations, and making sure everything was perfectly comfortable. Her effort and kindness truly stood out and made our stay unforgettable The black sand and stones are not my favorite but the property the Marina and pool area compensates it

The amenities and included tours were wonderful. The pools were very nice as well The mosquitos. I believe I had 9 bites in one day. I was wearing bug spray but I needed more protection especially at night.
-
The location, the pools are spectacular and the staff is top-notch The only thing that we did not like a better state is that we were unable to stay longer
-
Had a problem with the hot water. Breakfast is not included. Bed was uncomfortable.

The price versus quality.

We booked two rooms one for us and one for my parents. Communication with the property was extremely challenging. My parents room was non refundable, however, ours was fully available for cancellation. I emailed the property several times to try to change our room with no success, because my parents had an emergency and had to cancel their trip. At check in, the gentleman was able to move us to two connecting rooms instead. The staff were a little cold at check in as well as the restaurants. The facility is beautiful if your main desire is to sit by the pool. I didn’t love the beach and it’s kind of a remote location. I’m glad we only stayed two nights, as it was kind of boring. They offer a lot of activities, but you have to scan a barcode to see what they are. Our barcode also did not work. It lacked a lot of personal touches you would expect. I also didn’t find the property to be a good value. It was expensive and the added things included in the resort fee were not well explained or easily accessible. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend to others.

The property was beautiful. It had a very nice pool and several restaurants on site. We used the swim up bar a lot. If you just want to lay by the pool and eat/drink, then you might enjoy this resort. We stayed at 3 different properties during our trip and this was our least favorite and most expensive. Some of the staff weren’t very friendly. At check in, they don’t go over all of the things available on the property to do. Instead, they give you a barcode to scan, which didn’t work. The beach is not pretty here, so I wouldn’t recommend it for fun beach days. The water is brown looking with black sand.

This hotel tried to cheat us. We were charged for a drink we never ordered, extra on a food bill, and an additional person—despite booking for three. That’s three separate false charges on one stay. When we asked for an itemised bill and showed them photos of what we actually signed, they suddenly claimed it was a “mistake” and removed the charges. Let’s be clear: this wasn’t a mistake. It was theft. If we hadn’t checked, they would have gotten away with it. There’s no excuse for this kind of behaviour from a brand like Marriott. Check every line of your bill. Don’t trust what they hand you.
