Had a great first experience staying in a smart pod hotel in Jakarta. The room was fully mobile-controlled, room lock, room lights, sleeping music, very modern, and comfortable. It was something new for me and I really enjoyed the experience!

The internet was not great, and the breakfast could use some work.

I took the single "room" which is quite small but exactly as advertised. If you have several bags it might be hard to fit them into the room. I had one big backpack and a medium size baggage and it was okay. The facilities are good and clean. The check-in was easy. I don't like their sandal system. You have to change your shoes for the cheap low-quality sandals they provide and they throw them away which is an environmental disaster. Lots of unnecessary waste. Either allow people with the shoes inside and take them off in the room or let people take shoes off before and let them walk barefoot. Or another solution that creates no waste. It's a pity to see this.
