Hotel Villa Las Margaritas Sucursal Caxa

As a solo traveler, I was welcomed by the receptionist after a brief confirmation of my reservation. After a pleasant conversation, the management escorted me to a room. I was not pleased with the location and demanded another room. The next room was no better than the first. To avoid any problems, I expected the room. I had to shorten my stay at this hotel because after a few days, I felt that I had made a bad choice. I departed the hotel after four days. My complaint was that most of the staff did not speak nor understood english. Even though I used a translator, it was difficult at every turn. When ordering from the hotel's menu. I had to sign for everything I consumed. I really felt as if I was being overcharged for everything, even the breakfast. AT dinner time, I had to wait practically 45 mins for food to be delivered to my table. This is unacceptable. No lounge area to sit. If you sat at a table, you were expected to order something and wait 15 mins when there was no one else in the dining area. Because the proximity from the dining area to the kitchen was less than 2 minutes, from my table having to wait 15 to 20 mins. was unacceptable.

Such a beautiful and unique hotel! We love the style and decorations. The rooms were clean and suited our needs.

The staff was very friendly. The location was great and quiet. The mattress was too soft.

This hotel has a fabulous restaurant. It is very close to the ADO bus station so taxis are always available. The water in the shower fluctuated in temperature with no discernible pattern. One day it was fine the next no hot water until afternoon. Then the next day too cold every time tested. Our final day no problem.

This is by far the best hotel I have stayed. Clean, with restaurant and all amenities. It is at a walk-able distance to CAXA which is the main bus station. I will definitely stay here again whenever I visit Xalapa, Mexico.

Perfect location for arriving to Xalapa, the hotel is right next to Ado CAXA after crossing the street. Easy to walk to center or take a taxi or bus. Great restaurants nearby and at the hotel. Really helpful reception and friendly staff. Bathtub was great so was TV and AC and beds, desks and the view. Our room was double booked by their other system and we were going to get our room by 11pm, Could propably have avoided this by paying in advance. In the end we took a trip out of town to see family and returned the next day, didn't cause us any trouble. Staff let us leave our bags at the hotel and our stay at the hotel was one of my favourites.
