Courtyard Jersey City Newport

Easy to get to, and easy parking. The area is walkable with excellent restaurant options. The city and the hotel were both very clean and safe. We had an excellent experience.

Location was good however a bit pricey, and parking was pricey as well

The location of this hotel was fantastic. Extremely easy access to the Path station. I would absolutely seek out this hotel if I'm ever traveling to NYC again.

The hotel was very nice

This was by far the best hotel I have stayed at in New Jersey. The hotel was in a wonderful area and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The room had a balcony and they were much bigger than a typical standard room. Will be booking at this location again if I am in the area.

Clean rooms, staff

Unfortunately upon arrival in the lobby a mouse ran by my husband and I. We felt uneasy about staying! Check in explained it occasionally happens as the hotel is located next to path trains. We decided to continue with our plans and the room was clean so we stayed and all was fine.

The staff was amazing and the location was perfect for our trip. The proximity to the PATH station was extremely convenient and several of the local restaurants were very good. Great place to stay for anyone who wants to be close to NYC but not pay NYC rates! For myself, the mattress in our room was a bit soft and perhaps worn out in the center, which ended up causing me a lot of pain in my lower back. And for some reason, the fitted sheet refused to stay on the mattress. Otherwise, our stay was excellent.

When checking in, the first person we dealt with was rude. However, the second person that ultimately checked us in was very helpful.

Excellent location. Beautiful lobby area and courtyard with comfortable sitting spaces for working or relaxing. Clean, modern, extra spacious rooms. Wonderful hotel.

They were nice enough to change our room to a higher flor and let us check out 1 hour late.

Staff was efficient, rooms were clean, and bed was comfy.

Location Nothing

This hotel room was a nice size, and we love having the sofa bed for extra sleeping space. It’s super convenient to be right next door to the path train too!

Honestly nothing to dislike

It would be nice to have coffee available first thing in the morning. We had get coffee from outside the hotel and bring it back to our room and I did not see any information on how to connect to the hotel WIFI.

The location was ideal for our planned daily trips to New York City. NA
