great. staff is awesome. Wayan was super friendly and great to talk with. the female staff (I can't remember her name) was also great and very attentive, remembering how we like limes with our morning papaya!

Great location, nice massage onsite and next door at La Joya. Short walk to beach where had great surf lessons. Highly recommended. Walk round coast at low tide to Dreamland Beach amazing and then to Bingham.

It doesn't get much better than being located on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The rooms are separate bugalows and so extremely quiet. You are woken by cow bells and roosters. The restaurant had really good made to order food, including fresh fish and vegetables. There was nothing I didn't like about this place.

Staff were incredibly friendly, efficient and helpful. Our villa was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The pool was pristine with no chemical smell. We loved the food here. Super fresh with generous portions. The restaurant/bar area has a fabulous sunset view. It does get hot though. They should have WAY more than one fan blowing! We absolutely loved this location. It gives you the old Bali feel before over tourism. A short walk through a beautiful little meadow takes you to a good set of stone stairs directly down to the beach. Surfing and surf shacks abound on the beach. If you walk hard right at the bottom of the stairs, there is some calm water up against the cliffs for swimming. We would love to return here someday.

The bungalow was spacious and comfortable. Great location close to the beach-- a short walk down, great for surf. Pretty spot to watch the sunset. The pool was really nice and enjoyable. Breakfast was good, filling. Appreciate the fridge in room. Needs a little updating. The restaurant was not welcoming-- the balcony overlooking the beach/view was hot/no airflow-- fans would be helpful. We did not eat other meals here as it did not look appealing. Staff was not around much. For the price I expected a bit more, but it has lots of potential to create more appealing restaurant/common space

Beautiful small houses as rooms and friendly staff They say room with sea view and thats not true as there is a wall stopping the view. i paid extra for that and it was a lie.

Great surfing location.Decent food at the restaurant, good swimming pool. The bungalow was outdated

- nice property - very relaxing - small but pretty - good price value - the bathroom sink should be cleaned - food needs to be done faster in the restaurant. I read a book while waiting but it should stil not take 30-45 min

The kampung-style room, comfy bed, breakfast, polite staff, and a nice sunset view from the restaurant. The beach is basically in the backyard and Pura Goa Gelap is nearby. Other areas felt crowded, so this was a bonus after a long day out. Creaky sounds on the floor

Great views of the Balangan beach, especially during sunset. Perfect location. Helpful and friendly staff. Hearty Breakfast. Mosquitos inside our room. We brought insect repellant but may be it’s not that strong, still i got more than 5 bites in my arm when we leave the place. ? No toiletries (i.e toothbrush, slippers) provided.

The staff at the resort were very helpful and responsive, so no complaints there. The location is great if you want to surf at Balangan Beach and easy to just rent a scooter to explore this part of the island. The resort needs a bit of tender loving care, a lot of the furniture and fixtures are old and has lots of dust. If you don't mind those little flaws, it's still an ok resort to spend a few nights.

Staff was very nice and pleasant, helpful on different things. View on the ocean from restaurant and cliff was amazing. Sky is and horizon is with beautiful sunset and clouds. Cottages were very old (above 20 years for sure), without proper door/window isolation. Hot air is coming in and out and it is not possible to maintain the rooms chilled. Wi-Fi signal was very bad in the cottages itself with possibility of totally going down from 9pm onwards. Storms might affect internet as well (eg half a day no internet) in case you are planning work remotely.

Location was amazing, set right on the cliff overlooking Balangan beach with amazing views of the sunset and the whole cliff is like a green pasture area with cows often grazing around. So picturesque and a fabulous place to launch a drone from if you're into that kind of thing. Also the hotel has a gate at the back with access to the stairs that lead to balangan beach (you just need to walk across the cliff/pasture area in the back to get there, which is a beautiful short walk). Also the staff is absolutely amazing! Ovie at the front desk helped me out when i arrived only to realize I had booked for the WRONG YEAR! She was able to get me into a room for the first couple nights and stayed calm throughout, telling me "it's bali, the only thing is not to panic" and she was right! The bungalows are spacious, great water pressure with proper hot water, a little balcony/terrace area in front where I could do yoga outside and I even got a partial view of the beach even though technically it wasn't one of the "sea view" bungalows. Lovely pool area too and a relaxing feel to the whole property. Oh, and the restaurant area is all glass walls in the front overlooking the cliff/pasture area and beach beyond. Fabulous views and pretty good food. The value is fantastic for what you get. I ended up paying less than $30 USD/night and I cannot believe it wasn't more. This isn't about the hotel itself because most of the hotels in the area are like this from what I can tell (particularly if you want easy access to the beach) but just something to be aware of: the road the hotel is on is mostly just other hotels and the town isn't really walkable from the hotel so if you don't have your own transport expect to be ordering grabs or gojeks to go everywhere (which is fine and super cheap) or you can do like I did and stay on the property and just order anything you want to be delivered straight to the hotel from grab or gojek (again, super cheap). I had some truly fabulous food here delivered straight to the hotel lobby and it was a pleasure to be able to enjoy the delicious bali coffee and food options right on my bungalow without having to go anywhere. I only mention the location in case you're dead-set on being right in the center of town (though to be honest imo i don't know why anyone would want to be in town when you could be beach-adjacent with these amazing views).

Lovely view of the surfing. Easy 10 min beach access across a field and down concrete stairs. Comfortable cabins. Nice pool area. We only ate the included breakfast at the restaurant. It seemed pretty basic, it could be improved as it is a large enough facility.

The location was great. The restaurant wasn't good.
