The floor we stayed was very clean We stayed at a room with toilet outside but only us using it The host was very kind and polite The breakfast was very good The location is good,quite close to jiufeng Water pressure is very good Didn’t know how to use the TV in the room and we forgot to ask

The accommodation is nothing fancy, but was fine for our needs to explore Jiufen and surrounding area. The b&b was clean and the staff were helpful at check in. Breakfast provided around 9:30am. The Jiufen Old Street is about a 5 minute walk away, and the police station is close by (near the bus stop if you’re using transit like we did). We arrived a little earlier than expected and the host allowed us to store our bags in the living room until check in time

Although at the end of old street, it's actually the best part becos it's at the bend where the view of the lighted part of old street is in full view from the window. Owner is really helpful, got us a variety of taiwanese breakfast, let us keep our luggage while we explored in the day. The entire apartment is huge and comfortable. Would stay here again anytime. Initially thot it was quite a distance away from old street but after I saw the view, I was happy. Can't think of anything I dislike.

The family that runs Slowly B&B was very kind! It was easy to check in and check out, as well as leave our luggage. They provide breakfast every morning from a local shop. The breakfast is yummy, and there is a variety of foods each morning. Also, the location is easy to get to the bus station and Jiufen Old Street. I would highly recommend this place! I will be staying here again if I visit Jiufen! The only con was that the hot water stopped during our shower. The easiest solution was to turn off the water for a moment, wait, and then restart your shower. It was not a major inconvenience.

Quiet section of Jiufen, very clean room and external bathroom. Owner allowed us to store baggage before check in time. Close proximity to bus, hiking spots and the old street Not always able to find any staff on the main floor with questions (though we were able to figure it out by ourselves eventually—where extra bottled water was stored, and needing to empty the water reservoir in the room fan occasionally otherwise it would shut off)

Enjoyed the homestay and warm welcome and care by the family. The room and bathroom was quite large, the bed was comfortable, and the hosts were flexible and accommodating with an early check in and late check out. The location of the bed and breakfast is on the quieter side of the town, and likely you will need a taxi to get to and from the bus stop or Ruifang train station if you are carrying luggage (all of which the hosts are welcome to book for you). The hot water is a bit finicky however the hosts were upfront about this and instructed what to do.

Short walk to Old Jiufen Street, Beautiful Ocean views from our spacious room, extra sink outside of our bathroom, breakfast delivered to our room in the morning & very nice B&B staff. A bit tricky for our Uber Taxi to find the B&B on arrival. The driver dropped us off at the other end of Old Jiufen Street. Upon departure, the first Uber Taxi accepted then cancelled. The second Uber driver accepted & found the B&B driving up narrow & winding. The B&B staff offered to help us call a taxi as a backup plan.

Exceptional

The view out my window was so lovely in the morning. The hosts were very kind, the room was clean and spacious. A breakfast was organise for me and it was so tasty. I agree with other reviews on the room not having heaps of warmth however once I was in bed I slept warm and toasty. While the water was hot enough for a shower it was not hot enough to use the absolutely stunning bathtub. Non the less value for money at the time of booking I would stay here again.

The owners were really friendly and made sure I had a comfortable stay. Breakfast was lovely- served daily about 9.30. Do let the owners know in advance if you do not require breakfast for particular day. The location is conveniently located about 5 minutes from the main area. Bed was comfortable and the toilet came with a tub as well. Room was clean! Rooms were located mainly on 2nd floor so you might need a little help getting up the stairs, especially if your luggage is heavy.

The Staff was beyond friendly. The location is great-calm and central at the same Time. Great breakfast-really highly recommend.

Usually, the water could get quite warm but not hot enough to use the bath. Our room's view was mostly the neighboring room's balcony and a wall. Breakfast seemed to be takeout from a fast-food place opening at 9am. Decent taste but felt very unhealthy.

Absolutely fantastic! We loved our stay and want to stay again next time we are in Juifen. As other reviews have mentioned, its towards the end of Old Street (no stairs in between which is nice). Breakfast was delicious. The place was clean. The host was fantastic. We loved it Nothing ?

The host is very accommodating, nothing is too much to ask. Breakfast is great, traditional Taiwanese style. The room has dehumidifier and air con/heating to make the room comfortable. Maybe an extra table to put clothes/stuff
