The rooms are quite messy all the time, maybe not enough cleaning up but the guests are just not aware of what a hostel is so makes the experience quite bad

Amazing staff Amazing room VERY clean hostel- kitchen, room, and shared spaces are all impeccably clean and tidy Location is close to the beach, shopping centre, laundry, restaurants, art fair etc. The hostel has a very calm, serene atmosphere and feels like a space that makes a point of diversity and inclusion. There are lots of activities and suggestions for those who want it. If I had to pick something, it would be the area to have meals. I didn't enjoy sitting there very much to eat and wish there were more outdoor tables/benches to have meals.

Probably the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Really quiet, relaxed, clean and organised. everything makes sense and the staff are really focused on minimising our impact on the environment. Bed was comfortable, room was big, and well ventilated with sunlight, shower was good with proper pressure, the kitchen facilities were great with everything you need, and there are loads of chill-out spaces to rest. Everything is spotlessly clean and disinfected and there are alcohol gel stations around the place. They also have lots of information and recommendations of what to do locally, depending on the time of day. I didn’t like the inflexibility with payment. I wanted to pay in advance and explained why but wasn’t allowed. Then I wanted to pay on departure instead (I basically wanted to pay on a Friday or Monday, to avoid weekend exchange rate charges). I didn’t like how the junior staff member, while dealing with the issue, asked if the charge was really that much/expensive. I don’t feel it’s the place of the hostel receptionist to discuss my budget and expenses with me. Discussing the hostel payment and check-in/check-out policies - fine! Discussing my finances - not ok.

The hostel is very colorful and has several different small areas to hang out with some instruments, really inviting. The funcionarios there are just gold, very helpful and well informed about what is currently going on in JP. And you just get the impression right away that they care about the place. A clean and fully equipped kitchen, actually the whole hostel is very clean and fully equipped. Regular bunk beds but comfy enough that I had some good sleep there. I saw people doing home office there - so that is also an option. The location is excellent, close to the beach, cafes/ restaurants, grocery store.

incredible space! The rooms were very clean, individual lockers available and had the two cutest cats ever ? It was just one street away from a beautiful beach and close to restaurants, markets etc. nothing!

It’s a really good location, next to a police station so safe, good common areas and a nice breakfast. There is a rule for everything. An extra shower is needed

The Room was big! And the beds comfortable. Free potable water. Good kitchen. The team was not very welcoming and not particularly efficient. The breakfast is inclusive but consists only of cheap and very sweet things. But there is a good kitchen where you can prepare your own breakfast.
