Chanod Haveli

Heritage building in the old town with its own parking lot. Spacious rooms, new amenities. Hot water always. Attention to details. Comfortable beds, crispy bedsheets. Delicious breakfast (cuscus was to die for). Attention to details. But what’s the most important is the vibe and atmosphere of hospitality that makes you feel a dear guest. Special love to the dining room with its pictures on the wall, books and authentic furniture. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thanks for everything! -

Freshly cooked food using local ingredients. Plenty of choice. Owner or his wife or daughter always on hand to answer any questions we had.

I am in love with Chanod Haveli! We are on a road trip through Rajasthan and this is the first accommodation which gave us Rajasthani vibes. The room / floor we stayed in, is from 1896! Large verandahs border the rooms on either side. Stained glass on the doors and light flowing through stained glass transoms above doors and windows. Room and washroom are large (the joys of old housing) , modern facilities, impeccably starched and white bedding and towels(they are personally very important for me). And the beautiful marble flooring! For dinner, we were guided by Mr Shailendra Singh to a neighbouring restaurant. And what a view! Mehrangarh fort , Umaid Palace, fountains. The food was equally delicious. We had a delicious breakfast at Chanod Haveli itself before leaving for Jaisalmer. Took us back to our childhood days, of formal settings and relaxed breakfasts. As I said in the beginning, this is the Rajasthan experience I was looking for . Liked everything

Very nice décoration. Very nice shower. Very nice food for the breakfast, diversified and not too spicy for foreigners. Good location close to the train station and in old town. The owner is the most arrangeable and niciest person we met. It can bé a little bit noisy on the street side during the day. But small street and ok at night.

Breakfast was simply sumptuous. Fresh and hot, it was lovely. They gave us a lot of curd The bathroom could have been better, with divided wet and dry areas making the whole thing cleaner.

Everything was superb, we loved our three nights at Chanod Haveli. Service, location, facilities all perfect. We especially liked the location as it is an easy walk to Blue City, markets and the fort, yet was in a quiet area, so there was no outside noise after dark. Our room was very spacious and the bathroom and balcony very large. The breakfasts were enough to keep us going for the day. We got lazy and ate in every evening also as the food was of such high quality. Thoroughly recommend without hesitation. There was nothing we didn't like.

Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful hosts- gave lots of useful advice . Huge very clean room and comfy bed. We appreciate the kettle and tea/ coffee making facilities. Great views from the roof terrace. Oh- and super delicious breakfast! We left early on the last day and were given a packed one.

Beautiful building, great room, very good breakfast ?

Really loved our stay at Chanod Haveli. The hosts Mr Shailendra and his wife are just lovely people, very gracious and accommodating to our requests. The breakfast was simple, home made and delicious. It's a beautiful haveli maintained very well.

The owner himself and his crews are one of the best thing in staying at this place. They really made this place feel like home where he served us with super delicious breakfast fresh from his kitchen and and wilfully help you with any kind of problems to make your trip as much smooth as possible. This is beyond what normal hotel could have offered you. Also, there buildings and room design are so unique and wouldn't be seen from where else. I truly recommend this place to anyone who want to stay in Jodphur!

Staying here was like staying in a 5-star hotel, and at the same time feeling at home, and paying cheap for everything we received here.

The haveli is a well maintained traditional building that offered us a nice comfortable and very spacious room. The twin beds were very comfortable. Breakfast is served in the owners residence by the family and was both plentiful and tasty. We enjoyed discussing all manner of subjects with the host while eating breakfast. While a no time a safery/security issue, the immediate area around the haveli is not the best: no restaurants, uninviting, need to walk about 50 m to find tuktuks.

Exceptional

We had an amazing time staying here. The Haveli is located right in the heart of the city with all of Jodhpurs major tourist attractions being in walking distance. The family has owned the property for 125 years and hast just recently converted it into a home stay. The rooms are very spacious and bathrooms are clean. We had a great time chatting with the owner over (a quite delicious and complementary) breakfast. Can definitely recommend Chanod Haveli if you’re staying in Jodhpur. N/A
