I spent two nights at the Ratan Vilas Hotel in Jodhpur, as part of a private tour of Rajasthan. It was certainly the best hotel experience while in India, a compliment to Brijrat and his family, who own this wonderful property, and manage it with warmth and high standards. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and quiet. The food offerings were excellent, and many suited my preferences for non-spicy items. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Most importantly, the staff is extremely professional, always there to assist, and with good English skills. It was a great base to explore the sights of Jodhpur, and I only wish that I could have spent more time there.

The hotel is a peaceful place where to rest after the buzz of the city and a long walking day. The swimming pool is the perfect place to enjoy the nice scenery of the garden and the smell of the flowers.

Charming hotel, clean and professionally managed. Limited number of rooms, many quiet open air courtyards and a lovely small swimmi ng pool in the garden - perfetto to relax during very hot middle day hours. Restourant service both inside and open air in the garden, very pleasant for breakfast in the morning and romantic dinner in the evening. Breakfast was ok - but limited choice if you look for a continental / sweet based breakfast - as we do.

We loved our stay at Ratan Villas. The property is so beautiful and we really enjoyed relaxing by the pool after a busy day exploring Jodhpur. It was very easy to get transport to all of the main attractions and the food at the hotel was high quality. The staff were so attentive and helpful with everything we needed. We’d definitely recommend this hotel!
