Near the metro. Exceptional value for money for private rooms. Friendly hosts. Old and outdated place and facilities. Noise problems as it is located in the busy main road.

Just 5 minutes walking distance from the railway station. Calm and quite atmosphere. Room and wash room were clean. Nice hospitality and behaviour of the owner and staffs are very much appreciable. They are also running a vegetarian restaurant on the roof top. Can enjoy food with a scenic view of Mehrangarh Fort.

Govind Hotel is less than five minutes' walk from Jodhpur railway station and convenient for most of the city. I was very warmly greeted by the friendly staff and the room was clean and comfortable with hot showers (although the hot water is available only 7-10am). The rooftop restaurant has an excellent menu and is reasonably priced - also serves the best chai masala I have ever drunk (a fair-sized pot too); the restaurant also has great views of the fort. On arrival, I asked for a kettle and was told that although they couldn't supply one, if I wanted hot water to make coffee at any time, I could ask for it at reception - I had to leave early on my final morning, so asked for hot water and was given luke-warm water. Also, the hotel is shuttered at night (the shutter is opened around 5am) which, although there is always someone sleeping in reception, makes me wary of safety (in case of fire etc.)

Travelled with family. Polite staff, very supportive. Excellent location just 300 from Jodhpur Railway station. Offer a spacious , neat family room.

Perfect location for an overnight stay in-between connecting trains from Jodhpur. It's a 5 minute walk from the station and they WhatsApp you prior to arrival with clear instructions on how to get to the property. The staff were kind and accommodating, allowing us to pre order breakfast ahead of an early departure the following morning. Probably not the best location for exploring Jodhpur or it's fort, but we had already visited the city a week before and stayed closer to the old town so this was fine for one night.
