Wonderful all round. Vincent, the night guard, was such a warm welcoming soul!

Well maintained. Decent Wifi Coverage. Nice furniture. Very nice staff. Safe and secure. Room size is very good. Bathroom is large. Parking available. When I went to have my breakfast in the first day and as I was entering the "lobby" a lady was sitting in the "lobby" with a dog sitting on another sofa. As soon as I entered the room, the dog started barking at me and then it charged at me. The lady stopped the dog before it physically attacked me. I was shocked. The lady, who turned out to be the facility manager, later lightly apologized and brushed the situation away. This terrible experience was not handled well by the manager and immediately made me dislike the place. I would never go back to a place where my safety is at risk. The breakfast buffet leaves a lot to be desired. Room outside-view is not inspiring.

Beautiful, clean, quiet. Large rooms with all the convenient items needed when traveling. Beds super comfortable. Staff are really friendly and obliging. The help yourself bar is a wonderful idea. Breakfast is the best!!!!

This is NOT a 5-star establishment. This isn’t even a 3 star. Rooms are tired and old. Some rooms need major work/revamps. (the one I stayed in- had a THICK and dusty carpets) Aircon’s don’t work. And they tried swapping my room 3 times- to try and find a more suitable/clean dust-free room for me. But I had to carry my own bags. The 2 initial rooms that they tried to make me stay in; were full of mildew, mold and had a damp smell. No aircon and a thick pile carpet that had stains on it. Breakfast is dismal, if you are vegetarian- it’s worse than dismal. And it’s the same menu- every day. You have to walk to the main gate everytime you order food (because this guest house doesn’t even offer a snack service or room service) or if you have an Uber to pick you up- walk to the gate again to open. Because staff go missing after 5pm and so does the security- you are literally left alone to DIY everything; even down to opening the main gate to this property. I will definitely not book here again. As a seasoned level 3 genius member; my advice is to rather spend the 1000 rand more and book a real 5 star place. Every single thing was horrible. Expect the service of the staff. But staff disappear from 4pm onwards. So you’re basically on your own.
