Southern Sun Rosebank

I stayed in two different rooms and in the first one, I could hear everything that was happening in the next room, because they were connecting by a door that of course it was locked.

Be very cautious, we were mugged in plain daylight, on the corner of the hotel.

Everything was wonderful

Knowing people were booking in to get to the rugby stadium should have had them on their toes with rooms being ready. We could not checkin at 2pm as rooms were not ready. By 3pm we decided to go to game and checkin later.

stayed in junior suite of newly revamped room and it was lovely paying for parking. there were lots of kids who came for the event and made lots of noise.

Nothing

-My room had a nice view. -The room was 'roomy.' -The pillows were fluffy. -The cookies were a nice bonus. -The wifi worked with no issues. -They offer a shuttle service to the Rosebank Mall. It's within walking distance, but the shuttle is a nice option. -Nice location; lots of shopping options and galleries nearby. -The gym is a nice size with a variety of equipment. -There are lots of places to sit in the lobby. -My room didn't have a bathtub. I know that some rooms do. -I should have asked for a blanket. The dry heat was causing some nasal issues for me.

Clean room. Could have been larger for two

Secure good place helpful curteous staff i fell down in the lobby, the tiles and carpet, they were not at the same level, and there i was falling. The staff helped me up. I asked them to address the issue.

I loved everything about Southern Sun Rosebank. The rooms, the staff, the breakfast, Talent at the reception - she was amazing. I spent 30 days there and I loved every single day.

All of the staff. Breakfast had a wide variety & very good eggs cooked to perfection. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious and a good value. Very nice facility & free shuttle to shopping center. Bed & pillows were very comfortable. N/A

Location is perfect. Love that there is a shuttle to and from the mall, as I wouldn't want to walk alone. My bath plug was faulty. I called housekeeping twice, but no maintenance person came to correct the issue.

Great location. Good breakfast. No ce facilities. Room furniture needs some updating. Check out time 11:00 am unacceptable Check out time

Everything. The room was nice, comfortable and clean. The room facilities were sufficient. Nothing really. Just would have loved if there was complimentary still water bottle in the room.

Rooms need update and upgrade. Bathroom is newer and pleasant, but room carpet and and furniture are very old, lights were not working properly, AC was noisy.

More ventilation in the rooms

The sockets in the room didn't work. The power extension unit maintenance provided was dirty. The fridge didn't work at all. Room was at the far back of the corridor right in front of a service entrance, noise from the use of that service entrance was disturbing.

Food, room, services Nothing

The receptionist (male) was excellent - forgot his name. He made the check-in process fun! Great asset! The following night I stayed at 54 on Bath and between the porter at 54 on Bath and Southern Sun, my luggage arrived seemlessly. In my bathroom something was broken and when I told the receptionist (lady) on check-out), she didn't make any note of it. I hope she remembered to have it fixed.
