Most comfy bed ever!! Loved our stay. It was clean, good facilities, and great location.

The location was great, had a good view facing the beautiful pool :) The room was equipped with all the necessities and the room service was impeccable. Observed a few coach roaches which became a bit unsettling.

Quiet and secure neighborhood. Walking distance to Melrose Arch. First stayed here in 2019, just after opening and l’m happy to see the high standards have been maintained over the years. Rooms are clean and the bed is comfy. Excellent customer service from the staff- special mention goes to Silindile at the restaurant. She went out of her way to ensure a comfortable experience. The Capital Melrose is definitely on my top five for places to stay in Joburg!

BReakfast was delicious. THey could do something about sound proofing the rooms - its very noisy.

Service was exceptional

This hotel looks more like an apartment block than a hotel. The room was spacious and neat and very minimalist. The room and bathroom was quite modern. Breakfast was very good. It is close to many restaurants, shops and coffee shops. Better coffee facilities in the room would be nice. Our only window looked onto another apartment block.

Good location Need more lights in room. Too dark, bathroom needs to be lit.

As soon as the G20 came into town I was treated like a second class guest. I asked to have lunch in the dining room but was told that there was no room because of a function, but it only started an hour and a half after I asked for a table and they allowed a table of four to sit in the dining room during that time and they were not part of the function. I was relegated to a small area in the corner with no air conditioning. I was recovering from surgery which the whole staff were made aware off. I did speak to the manager of the dining area and he apologized and said that things would be better tomorrow. He also offered me some lunch to take up to my room, but I said that I did not want that, I just wanted to be treated kindly from the get go.

Special thank you to Thando he was so pleasant and professional. The hotel is located close by the Melrose Mall so that was a plus for me.

Amazing location near by Melrose and Sandton with all required facilities. All necessary systems but nothing related to energy saving or connected room capabilities. Door needs a bit of maintenance.

The service (check-in, restaurant) was amazing. The pricing is a bit too high for the room I was given.

The room service was bad because one person was doing everything so he was impatient and it sounded like he was rude with us and the food took longer
