Property was clean, room wasn’t cleaned properly

First time staying at this brand of hotel. Not impressed. First impression was a dirty toilet. Then a nasty stained bath towel. Random hair in the bathroom and on the nightstand. Missing light covers, cords hanging from the AC unit... not a warm and fuzzy place. Breakfast was adequate. Lobby was nice. Parking and location easy. Price was ok for the area, but I would have expected a cleaner room for the price I paid.

We had a quick trip to Kalamazoo and this was the perfect location to stay! Highly recommend!

Excellent hotel.

Avid was very nice and clean. It was simply a bit too far from the center of Kalamazoo. There was also no microwave in the rooms. However, there was one available to all in the breakfast room. The staff was nice and professional.

Conveniently located off of 94. Clean, comfortable, sound proof rooms. Water didn’t get very hot. Toilet paper holder was not tightly fastened onto the wall and the TP kept falling off the holder lol minor but needs attention.

Very clean and modern. Close drive to downtown. Staff was very friendly. Quiet and comfortable. Shower had great water pressure. Loved everything

Great hotel for the price. It was clean and comfortable. Loved the 24 hour coffee and water station! We’ll be looking to stay here for our future visits to WMU.

Breakfast had great choices for everyone. Very comfortable atmosphere. The only issue was the lighting in the rooms. Wish it would have been soft white instead of bright white.

Clean, comfortable and staff was great! Streaming in the room is not working. Food for breakfast can be improved like provide fresh fruits.

Our room could have been cleaner, toothpaste spots on faucet. Splatters on back of bathroom door, tissue or paper on the floor pipe bed

You can hear every little sound and all the smells in that hotel.

This place walks on water. Clean, new. We slept through breakfast, but the coffee grinder for coffee is unique and wonderful.

Location. Lots of questionable people near a motel.
