The accomodation is in a peaceful location with amazing view! The rooms are very spacious with balconies. It js possible to do your laundry and cook in the shared kitchen. The hosts also provide drinkable water. It is truly amazing if you book the room here and are able to rent a scooter. The accomodation is up to hill and about 30 mins walking up to a very steep hil from the town. Usually the tuk tuk drivers do not want to take you there so you have to walk. The accomodation providors offer to arrange a driver for the guests if you do not wish to walk, so that was nice.

Secluded (but can also be a negative ) Staff really friendly and will help order takeaways as there’s no where close by to eat. Clean Comfortable Large rooms Good WiFi Really enjoyed our stay!! Not a huge amount to do around here but walking through the properties coffee plantation was a huge positive. Really need a car to benefit from staying here, or willing to pay for Tuk tuks everywhere

Wonderful staff - Winnish and the team made us feel like family. The infinity pool was magical, as was sunset. Amazing coffee and apum! Could have been more hot water - only enough for one.

The spacious rooms were tastefully designed, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We were thoroughly impressed by the excellent service provided by the hosts, who ensured our utmost comfort throughout our stay. *Vineesh* and *Chef Shibu chettan* were fantastic hosts. Their hospitality and the delicious food made our stay memorable. A highlight of our stay was the stunning view from the swimming pool. This breathtaking panorama left us spellbound. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Chembra Adobe Homestay. We highly recommend this serene retreat to anyone seeking exceptional hospitality and a peaceful escape. NA

Great place to calm down and unwind from the busy Kalpetta city. Tastefully and yet traditionally furnished house. Set within a coffee plantation which we could visit, and the infinity pool is real! Most importantly, wonderful hospitality by Vineesh and Abhi who made us feel right at home and helped with everything we needed. Would come back again. Nothing, we should have stayed longer :)

Lovely, peaceful and green location. Spacious rooms with balconies and views. The staff (Vineesh and Abhi) were very friendly and always ready to help with a smiling face. There is a swimming pool which you can use any time. Just a short walk behind the property, there is a view point to enjoy the sunset and also get a view of the chembra peak. The breakfast that comes with the booking is simple and tasty ( dosas or puttu with chutney, kadalai curry and coffe/tea) and we also got a glass of avocado juice made from the avocados taken from the tree on the property itself. Ample parking space. These are not negatives but just some extra info to help travellers plan: Though you don't get any other meals than breakfast, there is swiggy and Zomato service available. And some hotels in Kalpetta deliver directly. Some good restaurants (we went to '1980s nostalgic restaurant') available within a 10 min drive. Also the approach to the property is an uphill single lane road but motorable and even big cars like a Fortuner can come up easily. So don't get worried about the approach.

We had the best experience, the stay, ambience, and food was soo good. It felt like staying at home. Behaviour of the staffs were very welcoming.

- Great location. Isolated, surrounded by a plantation, on a hill, away from the city noise. - Very cool decor. Earthy colours, designs. Comfortable, spacious rooms also. - Warm, friendly, on site managers. - wish their restaurant had been functional! The property is up a hill, with a pretty steep and isolated approach road. Not easy to step out for a bite. - the rooms on the ground floor open up to the gate and the parking. Lack of privacy can be an issue.

Little bit remote from Kalpetta, but they arrange a driver and you can go to various places, staff is happy to help with that. They let us use the washing machine without any cost which was really nice. Vineesh took us to an amazing sunset place just a 5 minute walk through the plantation. Rooms are well designed. Don’t serve lunch or dinner, but they can order for you from 2 different restaurants. Bathroom was ok, not as nice as the rest of the room/property.

Best hospitality, very warm, extremely friendly and welcoming team. There should be hand wash liquid kept in the washroom
