The stay was at the prime location of Kalpetta on a steep hill. The facilities were good, and the rooms were clean. The place had a parking area attached to the resort. The resort people cheated us with fake promises. Initially, we booked 3 AC rooms and paid a 1k advance through WhatsApp. Upon arrival, they gave us 3 non-AC rooms. Upon confronting them about the discrepancy, they started lying that they don't have any AC rooms left and we have to adjust with what we had. We then raised a complain immediately to Booking.com representative/customer service. They contacted the resort and after some time the manager talked to us convinced that they can provide only 2 AC rooms and we have to take one non-AC room. We had to agree unconditionally as we did not have any other choice. We were told that they will return 1000 from the total amount paid. But while checking out the receptionist said that the manager is not available at that moment and he will pay us the 1000 Rs through GPay in the evening. But they have not returned us the money yet nor has the manager picked up our call.
