Rosebay Hotel

Very good buffet breakfast. Cannot think of anything they didn’t provide. Room kept very clean as was the pool area which is nice and private. Two minute walk to the beach and promenade where there is plenty of taverna’s and bars. Have stayed here before and would definitely recommend the hotel. I can’t think of anything. For us it was perfect.

Clean, staff were very polite and very helpful. The hotel manager even bought my Wife’s jacket to the airport which she left in the room, refusing to accept payment when I picked it up from him. Very good!

Exceptional

This was an exceptionally comfortable hotel. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was very good too. There was nothing that I didn't like about this hotel.

Exceptional Staff Service Location at the beginning of Amari beach - 50 meters (20 minutes from the airport) As opposed to Fira and Oia towns, it is much less crowded and much more quiet Pool closed relatively early at 1800 Hotel is just about 1 km from the start of the airport runway which can be both annoying and spotters heaven Private parking is for just 4-5 cars - you may need to look for parking outside if it's full

We really liked the continental breakfast, and the neighborhood felt safe. Since it was April, the area wasn't too busy, with just a few shops and restaurants open. We were given a complimentary fruit tray and a bottle of water, which was a nice touch. I stayed for one night and didn't find anything that disappointed me.

We have just returned from a sixteen day stay. Everything was wonderful, first of all and especially the staff - waiters Felix, Panos, Andreas, waiters and bartenders in one Gerta and Alexander, receptionists Christine and Constantinos, lifeguard Evan, or the manager Georgia herself. And many others whose names I do not remember - such as the cook. They did everything and more than everything to satisfy us. The exteriors of the hotel itself meet the criteria for 4 stars, the interior will need remodeling, especially the bathrooms. In any case, everything was perfectly clean and spotless. We had half board which exceeded our expectations, there was a lot of food, sufficiently varied, of excellent quality. Our toddler was constantly running all over the hotel, in the restaurant, at the reception and even in the manager's office, she was welcomed everywhere with open arms, we felt like we were visiting family. She even received a gift from Gerta and Evan which surprised us more than pleasantly. Overall a fantastic stay. Of the negatives, perhaps only the planes - yes, they were noisy, but not very frequent, and the noise itself only lasted a few seconds, it was more interesting than annoying. They didn't bother us at night.

The location was great, 50m from the beach, and 10 minutes to the bus station. Food was very good, room was clean, i also like the pool.

Breakfast was very nice, plenty to choose from. Staff on the ball and nothing too much trouble. They even gave us departure breakfast at 5am, never had that before and it really came in handy. Excellent location, 50meters down the road to the beach and restaurants. I would stay there again. Not enough lounges around the pool. They say you can't reserve a bed which is perfect, but people do and staff don't enforce it. I used the bed only once and that was 5pm.

We liked the swimming pool, the breakfast and the service. A couple of things were broken in our room.

All staff was great

The breakfast staff were so polite and useful. Breakfast had many options from cereals to greek yogurt and eggs. Pool area is calm and well organized. Lounges,umbrellas,towells you may find all day long. Room is nice with a terrace space looking over the pool area. They don’t have their own beach/chairs but it wasn’t problem for us as we used pool and went to the beach just for swimming. Otherwise we could take a set for a day at any other place on the beach. There are many in front of the caffee bars and restaurants. Nice promenade with lot of offer for dinner and drink.

The staff was amazing. They treated us like we are alone in the hotel. Tho pool is very good, the bar, the restaurant.
