Convenient Location, Room had a very nice view, Polite Personnel. The low rating goes to the hotel upper management. The facilities are clearly badly maintained with many issues that do not meet 4 star-hotel standards. Our room clearly had many issues but we didn't change to a different one since it was spacious. It was not just our room though, Overall, the hotel shows signs of tare a ware beyond one season and points to poor maintenance (e.g. moving pool ladder, rusty features, broken door handles, malfunctioning toilets, windows not closing properly or stuck). The crew was very polite and tried to accommodate , but they can only do as much to manage a falling apart hotel. We visited in early Oct.25. It seems that whatever gets damaged never gets replaced or fixed.

All our stay was superb. We went for our honeymoon there and they went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. The room was spacious and comfortable. We even had a private pool which made the time we were there extra special! We would totally recommend it. The way to get there is a little challenging but totally worth it.

Such a gorgeous hotel and we loved the plunge pool on our balcony. It was a bit of an uphill walk! But the lovely hotel made up for this, and it was worth the walk.

The spacious swimming pool and sun terrace are excellent for relaxation. The hotel is clean and attention is paid to the details. The staff in the restaurant is very friendly; in fact, only one man was working the whole time, Lio (I think that was his name), and he ensured that everyone was happy and served on time. The breakfast is good and care was taken to serve something different daily Location. The communication of the reception staff could be better.

When we arrived at Antinea we were greeted by friendly staff who took us to our room. We were given a room with an outside pool and the staff had placed champagne in the room because it was our honeymoon which was lovely. The room was clean and tidy and right next to the bar/restaurant (we didn’t hear a thing from it at night or in the morning). The breakfast is lovely with a wide selection of food and the lunch menu is amazing. We stayed in twice to have lunch because the club sandwiches were delicious. Dinner was great, too. The pool is well looked after and never too busy; there’s plenty of beds and loungers for people to enjoy with a cold drink - we loved the Zombie cocktail. The staff are incredible and what makes this hotel brilliant. We don’t know their names, but the two men (one older and one very young) who did the shift on breakfast and day bar were lovely and very kind. We had an amazing, relaxing honeymoon and we would definitely recommend Antinea. Thank you for making our honeymoon so wonderful. The hill to the hotel was difficult to climb after being in the sun all day, so I would keep this in mine if you have young children. There was also an eggy smell sometimes in the bathroom, but we found this smell elsewhere in other restaurants’ bathrooms, too. The music throughout the day was a few songs on repeat which did get very repetitive so it could be changed but we just used our headphones.

Beautiful location and facilities, with helpful and attentive staff

The staff were pleasant and friendly, even if they didn’t speak English they always tried to help. - The room was tired, budget two star at most, 80s style. Definitely not like the picture we saw online! False advertising. - there was no sofa in the room- false advertising. The room we booked had a sofa in room description. - there were metal banging noises outside the balcony between 1-2am. We could hear our neighbours also. From around 6-7am more noise outside. Don’t dream about having a lie in after a late night flight. From 5:30am UK time (7:30am Greek time) the housekeeping staff are making lots of noise and have loud conversations. We didn’t sleep all night. - the aircon barely worked- v old, and was leaking water, so made a dripping noise. The room was v hot. - the bathroom had an eggy smell - the toilet didn’t flash properly - no tea and coffee making facilities- false advertising. When we asked, we were given a rusty kettle and 3 herbal tea bags and were told yea and coffee was at breakfast. The room listing specifically states tea AND coffee making facilities in the room. This was important to us. No milk either, of course. - the mini fridge didn’t work, it was warm inside and smelled awful! - we did complain to reception after check in and were told there was no manager and that we had to stay in that room. We were told to come back at 11am next morning. As we didn’t sleep we were on the phone to Booking.com since 7:30am. The general manager ‘reviewed’ our case and we were asked to pay 130 euros instead of 178 for that night! We were shocked. The experience was horrific. We will be seeking compensation. We had to move to another hotel, which we had to find ans book ourselves and also pay for a taxi to get there. No problems at the new hotel, it’s lovely. All of this was the beginning of our honeymoon.
