The lady receptionist wasn't helpful! Abit on the arrogant side.

The breakfast was amazing - very large and customizable. It was free with the stay, but we might even return just for breakfast without staying because it was such good value. We liked our room. It was very large with a big bed. It had a private patio, which was nice. Bathroom was a bit dated, but shower was hot with good water pressure. The room we had originally booked (executive suite) was not available, so we were moved to a different room. I had thought we would get a discount for not getting the room originally booked, but they said that since we booked through Booking.com and not directly through them, it was not possible. The difference was only $5 so I didn't make a big deal of it. The door to the room opened up right to the parking lot. This made it feel less private and a bit noisy. I wouldn't have minded if the door had a second lock given its proximity to the parking lot and the street.

Some room are dirty and noisy

The facilities are fine. But the room was not even a room. It was dirty, the shower had broken tiles. I paid 60$ a room that was worth no more than 20$

The place needs some proper refurbishments. The rooms and furniture are showing their age. A check up on the rooms to ensure they are clean and are not infested with snails My first night I was put into a room next to the bar with loud music

A scenic location with good restaurants and shops nearby (own restaurant good as well). Sauna nice hot and dry. If you have a lot to do in the city-centre, Muyenga is impractical because traffic to that side is a grinder. They offer a generous breakfast selection, yet very unflexible. I asked for chapati instead of bread with the egg, leaving out all other items. Still they had to charge extra for that. Seems petty. Towels in the Sauna are a bit too little, you wouldn't want to use the cushions on their seats with those...

In a way, the pictures of the room are better than what they actually are as the view isn‘t that great from most rooms. Staff was excellent, nice breakfast, great spa. Highly recommend the Moroccan bath. Unfortunately wifi was a huge struggle although they tried their best which meant I had to move rooms twice. Not good enough to do work calls.
