Koki Hotel

The internet is fast, restaurant people respond really fast and the food for in room service was super nice. The security guy at the elevator is really sweet and super helpful plus all the people at the reception. They all speak with a great smile knowing they work in hospitality. They are never annoyed even when a client may seem upset. The accessibility to this hotel is top notch. It is literally just there. City square, free parking, elevator, everything just works at this place. Nothing big for sure. I loved everything and i would recommend this hotel to anyone on the planet who needs value for their $70-$100 spent in one night. Maybe a request for the future. If they can introduce a robot to deliver food into the rooms. That would be great. It is something I saw in china but I am not saying should be here next week or so, just a future request. Very good for privacy.

Making me pay for parking yet it is free. The staff in that department are disorganized

No windows room has no ventilation at all. The air gets stuffy.

This was a great choice for s short, one-night stay in Kampala. Amazing staff, clean & comfortable room, excellent value, centrally located, good breakfast & restaurant. They were so helpful and we had an easy, fast airport transfer. I'd stay again and would recommend to others.

Right in the middle of town with a good breakfast and a good restaurant.

The location is excellent. This time I have not had the chance to eat breakfast because I was fasting during the day. I requested the hotel to provide my breakfast food in the evening because I was fasting during the day. The hotel did not even respond to my request

The hospitality of the workers is great!

The location is amazing, close to everything you need to enjoy your stay in Kampala. Very secure (hotel security + it’s opposite a police station) and very decent facilities in general. Poor customer care. Lack of communication between staff. What I booked was not was I offered on arrival, BUT at least one staff member (Betty) was kind enough to offer me an equally OK alternative (they were to be two separate rooms (traveling with family). She then first gave me the first room where I put kids stuff and told me when am back from evening walks I will find the second one ready. Coming back at around midnight, the gentleman and the entire customer care team refused to give me a second room saying I had to top up around USD 35 more. I asked if they don’t communicate and give each other hand over notes but they all refused and were literally ready to tell me to go find another accommodation, as they mentioned we can refund you tomorrow. I was so disappointed with that lack of empathy even when you see someone having a family and kids. After making me talk for over an hour, he ended up relocating me back to the initial plan that I had rightfully refused because it was lower than what I paid for. In the morning they then offer me poor breakfast (delivered to my room without me asking) and then wanted me to pay room service. Very disappointing experience after paying my hard earned cash. I don’t recommend this hotel if you are traveling with family and kids. Their customer care is next to zero.

Room is Good and has a comfortable bed, lack of cleanliness, lots of insects, and mosquitos were found. All staff, including staff at reception, were very serious and never smiled or even reciprocated when you smiled or wished them well. The hotel is located in very crowded area just opposite to

Breakfast was exceptional with lots of varieties. Location is great with access to shopping centres. Water pressure from the showers should have been better.
