Incredibly luxurious experience, the private onsen was amazing as was the breakfast!

Everything The design of the hotel is amazing Everything was great

Location Room was dimly light, so that I found it hard to read, except in bed. One section of room was lighted only when entered; even if staying there, light turned off too soon. I did not like to make appointment breakfast. Normally I can get breakfast at other hotels in an extended time interval. « Common » area was small, narrow and seating three people.

Lovely property with a wonderful team, excellent amenities, and a great location. The breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were clean and spacious.

Good location. The room, while stylish are cold (design wise) with concrete floors, walls and ceilings and dark.

Wonderful, zen, modern vibe. Quiet and comfy. Great location!

Such a beautiful hotel with a cool vibe. We used the isolation tank and that was a great experience. No parking.
-
Lovely boutique hotel near train lines. Rooms had all amenities and lovely soaking baths. Laundry service requires logging on to outside vendor - that is not really a big deal but different from other hotels.

Beautiful room, helpful staff, great location

Breakfast

The Taiwanese style congee breakfast I selected was superb - . The beds are excellent and extremely good. We enjoyed the complimentary local wine and sake on the second floor and also the complimentary coffee. It is close to an excellent luxury mall with nice supermarket below and near by shops, and close by shops. The samurai area is a 5 min walk and the Oyama Shrine is stunnning.

Great location. Helpful staff. Spacious room. Excess street noise from pedestrian crossing. Limited options on breakfast menu.

A gorgeous hotel in lovely Kanazawa, close walking distance to everything we wanted to see (right across from the castle grounds, and very close to bars and restaurants). The private rooftop onsen + sauna was magic on snowy afternoons overlooking the park and city, and were even able to get early checkin so we could be ready for our first afternoon onsen session. Our room (on the second floor, at the back of the building) was huge by any standard, but especially for Japan, quiet and secluded, and so elegant. In-room amenities were excellent, from the complimentary welcome snacks and minibar to the beautiful skincare in the bathroom. Breakfast downstairs was lovely — we usually skip a hotel breakfast unless it’s something special, but we had breakfast both days of our stay since it was so good (the congee and fresh soy milk especially). Overall such a beautiful and calm place, reminding me of K5 in Tokyo (a favourite hotel).

The little amenities, such as tea and snacks in the room and free drinks in the lounge, were much appreciated. Staff were very kind. The Japanese bento box breakfast for New Year's was excellent. The toiletries were very high quality. The coffee cups in the room were exceptionally beautiful, and very expensive - I was worried we would accidentally drop one. We stayed in a superior room and found it had some design flaws. First, there's no hook or bar for hanging towels in the bathroom. Second, the beds are on a slightly elevated platform. Each person in my family tripped or badly stubbed their toes on this platform multiple times. Third, there's not a good surface on which to place one's open suitcases. You have to use the sofa for this. Fourth, the sofa is uncomfortable. Finally, the room's entryway light is motion activated. When it is not activated, the room is too dark for carrying out tasks that require a moderate amount of light.

The hospitality of the staff and the design of the hotel were excellent. Nothing.

Delicious breakfast. The porridge was better than the sticky rice! Taiwanese tea was lovely. The location was really convenient and the rooms were very nice and spacious. Loved the in-room bath! The rooftop baths and sauna were really great too. Comfy bed. Staff was really kind. Wish we could have had clearer options for coffee and such for breakfast, it wasn't always offered - particularly when busy so it was okay. I do wish there was a full length mirror to get ready in front of - or just another mirror away from the sink. But these were really small things, we weren't really that concerned about it nor did it negatively impact the trip at all!

Korinkyo was my husband and I’s first stay in Japan after a 14 hour flight and 3 hour train ride - we couldn’t have picked a better place to land. We were welcomed so warmly by the kind staff and everything on offer (breakfast, lounge drinks, spa treatments) was explained to us thoroughly. Our room was beautifully designed, spacious, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for a three day stay. We both especially loved: the taiwanese style breakfasts, the comfortable yukata, and the rooftop sauna amenities. We’re looking forward to staying again the next time we’re in Kanazawa! Nothing
