We were upgraded from having two capsules to a twin room with a massage chair, sofa and plenty of space. It was unknown to us why we got upgraded, but thankful for the kindness and smiles we were greeted with upon our arrival. English could be better (we aren't native English speakers either, so perfection is not expected but a minimum of vocabulary to explain themselves would make things easier)

Superb

The proprietor was very welcoming and the apartment was very spacious. We had some difficulty finding the hotel entry as it was beside a pizza restaurant and the reception was on the 4th floor.

Great value overall. Big bed and ofuro (shower and bathtub) plus two TVs, a refrigerator and a small coach. The hotel is a bit difficult to find for foreigners (many signs were just in Katakana, mind that when you try to find the place). You can get up to reception through an elevator that is a bit hidden between two buildings.

I got a free upgrade from a capsule to a hotel room for 2, which was a great surprise. The room was very spacious and comfortable, however 3 of the light bulbs were not working. I hadn’t really complained about that, since I did not mind, but when I tried to use the eletric pot just to find out it was not working they supplied me with a new one right away.
