This is one of the most beautiful hotels that I have stayed in. Convenient coffee bar in the lobby. Great food. Enjoyed a walk to the WW1 museum.

The staff was super friendly and the hotel was clean, but I was very disappointed with the room itself. I paid more for a corner room and it fell short in many ways. Only one window instead of the advertised corner views (which was overlooking construction too). The bathroom doors didn’t fully close. The shower water pressure was too low and the temperature was way too hot. The toilet made a very loud, high-pitched noise for about 3 minutes after flushing each time. The wall art is creepy and discomforting. The corner room had one small table with no other furniture, while other rooms at least had a sofa at the end of the bed. Also, water/ice machines on the even floors don’t work and the hallway lighting is in disrepair. All that combined with $45 nightly parking was a disappointing experience!

The hotel is centrally located in a wonderful old KC historic property. Wile the room could have used a little TLC (read- minor upgrades), all in all if was very nice. The lobby and off lobby bar are stunning and the staff friendly and helpful.
