The Kaprunerhof is a family-run 4-star hotel in a quiet location, only a few minutes’ walk away from the center of Kaprun next to the cycling and hiking trail. Culinary delights are served in the stylish ambiance of the winter garden restaurant, in the lounges, or in the cozy beer garden with a view of the Kitzsteinhorn. Half-board is is available upon a request and for a surcharge and a rich breakfast buffet with an organic food corner and a 4-course dinner with a choice of dishes and a salad buffet is included in the room rate. Snacks and cakes in the afternoon and a welcome cocktail are also included. Every week there are various buffet evenings, a gala dinner on Sunday, and in summer a weekly barbecue evening. In winter the cable cars and ski elevators are close by the Kaprunerhof. The ski area offers 6.2 mi of slopes reaching up to 11 feet above sea level (Kitzsteinhorn Glacier), as well as 124 mi of cross-country ski runs. Ice skating, tobogganing, and winter hiking are also possible. In summer the Kaprunerhof is an ideal starting point for hikes and bicycle and mountain bike tours. Hotel guests receive a 25% green fee reduction at the Zell am See-Kaprun golf course. The children’s club is available free of charge during the school holidays. From May to October the Zell am See-Kaprun Summer Card is included in the price, which offers many free benefits and attractive reductions.

Location is very nice. comfortable beds, spacious bedrooms.Staff are so friendly and helpful and supportive. The toilet has no shower spray kit Shattaf.Breakfast area to add more choices and I requested for an omelet it was dry and little burnt.

The area The view Hotel staff The owners From house service to the owner, everyone was so helpful and friendly.. anything you need they will help u out i was there with my 6 months old baby anything i needed for me baby like hot water make baby food hot or keep food in kitchen freezer they never said no kitchen staff is so humble and helpful they are real heros from breakfast shift to the night shift ones every one play there part very well the owner gave us Table fan as there is no AC or fan in rooms.

The hotel is wonderful since the beginning. A very friendly approach from the owners just made us see that this was the correct choice for us. The coziness of the hotel, the restaurant, and the breakfast was wonderful. I can only recommend this as a must stay when in Kaprun I can not think of any cons of staying in this hotel

the property has been renovated to a very high standard whilst retaining its classical Austrian hotel. The property has an excellent spa and good restaurant.

Transfer from Salzburg via train is the best option. Hotel excellent with brilliant breakfast options. Ate in restaurant 3 out of 4 nights. Staff attentive. Shuttle service to local and Sell ski area also good. Cost of taxi's expensive.

Great hotel, freshly renovated rooms overlooking the glacier, swimming pool with warm water (kids loved it), great breakfast and a superb 5 course dinner for €25 pp. Oh, and an infra-red sauna in the room! No way to control the temperature in the room and not enough surfaces to dry the towels
