Hotel Schwertfirm

When we arrived we were told breakfast was not provided. We were told we registered for a room without breakfast. We did not. I have never been to a German hotel which did not provide breakfast. The breakfast room was open on Sunday morning but we were again told it was not included. We were there Friday to Monday. The towels were never changed, the room was never serviced. The elevator didn’t work so we had to carry our luggage up to the second floor. When we returned after dark on Saturday night, the lobby was dark. We had to enter and walk up a winding staircase in the dark to the second floor when the lights came on. There is no air conditioner or fan. The room was hot and very humid. There is a life sized man standing in the window which was creepy when you entered.

Very friendly staff, clean and quiet rooms. We were there to go to Octoberfest. Takes about 30 min by Uber/Taxi and about 45 min with public transport. We tried both and it all worked out well (even on a busy Friday night) Would come again. All was good

Staff was kind and helpful. Additionally, it was a good value and I appreciate being away from the business of the city of Munich.

Breakfast was excellent.Staff was attentive. Room was spotless. Desk made an extra effort to get my room ready as I arrived quite early. Value was very good for the rate. Walkable to stores a nd a number of good restaurants.Would definitely stay again... Hotel was 25 minute walk from train station, but a taxi was only 7E to train, so it was OK. Room could use a refrigerator, and perhaps a room safe. Overall most everything was pretty good, though. Not much to dislike.

Price and location was good Parking has extra price , they take 5 Euros more , and facilities was not same as offered

Good location quiet, very friendly staff. Lovely clean room every day. Maybe a small fridge in the room. The Germans don’t drink tea with milk, but us Brits do. The fridge would be handy to store milk and drinks in.

Very comfortable, a lot of space, good breakfast, very helpful staff, 20+ minutes to downtown by S-bahn, Karlsfeld is a very nice place, far from city rush...

We arrived late and had some trouble to find the location There was dtwo different hotel name I think it's needed to add a light sign with the hotel name

I liked that it was clean and quiet. There was no staff, breakfast, room service and the towels were old, hard and insufficient. The soap dispense in the shower was empty. 3 tea bags (no coffee or milk) were insufficient for ac3 day stay.

Great location for restaurants and cafes. The bus stop was very convenient to travel into the city centre. We didn't have breakfast because we stayed over the weekend but the cafe that they suggested was great. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout. Staff were very friendly. Could do with more pillows on the bed as we only had 1 each. We didn't ask in reception because by the time we got to bed reception was closed. There was only the option of herbal tea in the room. So coffee and breakfast tea would have been great.
