We loved everything about this property! The location was perfect, situated only a few meters from the beach. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. The room was spotless and comfortable. We would return tomorrow if we could! No complaints at all!

The room was spacious, very comfortable, and close to the pool. It wasn't too far from the sea, and the beach itself was excellent. Both the pool and the bar were great!" excellent breakfast We bought boat trip tickets from the guy in the hotel, only to find out they were twice as expensive as the stalls on the street. We felt pretty bad.

We didn't expect Karon Beach to be so busy and touristy. So the calm of Paradox was a great escape.

We also caught the songkran (Thai new year / water festival). They had nice activities there and the best foam party. Would have liked the main pool to be 1.45 meters. They have a shower room for those leaving late after checkout but it's quite basic, very hot with only a fan that barely does anything. Better than nothing but could be improved.

A fabulous resort with several pools and a magnificent breakfast buffet, and our penthouse suite was over the top lovely! It had a second-floor outdoor private patio and soaking tub with a thatched pagoda that truly said "Thailand!" The beds were in a large room with windows that overlooked a lagoon and the bathroom was at the other end of the largest suite we have ever stayed in. The decor was traditional Thai style with the dark hardwoods and white walls. Beautiful. Truly didn't want to leave! It's pricey but overall we would stay here again.... loved it!

Large complex bordering the beach, plus multiple nice swimming pools. Nice staff. Breakfast is good and has massive variety. We had to change rooms because the AC in the first one was weak and they could not fix it in two attempts. We could never get the room temperature below 28C, so we moved after one night. The temperature regulation in the second room was a bit imprecise, but we were comfortable. Given the size of the rooms, they could have a more furniture.

The villa, the greenery.. all staff were very friendly and nice. Loved the atmosphere in the resort. Pool bar one of our favorites, even though it’s in the nature, cleanest rooms ever… can’t wait to come here again in the future! Nothing

Ok, so we did book this hotel to have close walk to the beach. Comparing to the other hotel we stayed that took us solid 15 minutes to get to the beach. This time we decided to get Paradox to not to spend so much time getting to the beach. We've got the room in the main building on the 5th floor last one in the row. So it took us same 15 minutes to get to the beach from our room. It is walk from room to the elevator - to get out of the room - to get out of the hotel territory- to get to the beachside exactly. If we've got the villas it would make so much easier to get to the beach rather than the room in the main building. Also, to consider, the week we were there on the backside of the main building there was a market with concerts almost every night till 1 pm. Due to the the main door being not super isolated we could hear all the loud noise coming from it. It's not smth you want to get when you want to have vacation. In general it's a big hotel with tons of ppl in it. The personal is kinda ignorant and don't take you as important as it could be. My mom had a birthday and they didn't even do anything, where in other hotels we always got some compliments from hotel. The restaurant in the hotel is horrible - it takes forever to get a food and it tastes not so good. I don't understand how it's possible to have such a low quality restaurant inside the resort. I would give not more than 4- start to the hotel considering the whole experience and not planning to come back here.

Spacious with excellent pools. Good access to the beach and wonderful amenities. The food at the resort restaurants including the buffet breakfast was delicious. The spa service was excellent.

Green area & pool We stayed in two rooms for five nights and unfortunately our experience was far below acceptable standards. Throughout our stay we experienced multiple service failures: coffee spilled on one of us at breakfast with no proper follow-up, excessively slow service, rooms not cleaned on certain days despite requests, and an unprofessional response to a simple late checkout request. Being told that your standards are higher than Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and that we should “go there” was inappropriate and unacceptable. The final incident at checkout was the most frustrating. We were asked to provide a receipt for a pool day pass that had already been paid and verified three days earlier. Access had been granted at the time by security after checking the receipt. Asking again at checkout caused unnecessary stress and embarrassment to my father. This reflects poor internal communication and a serious lack of hospitality. Note that we had dinner 3 times at MINT & 1 time drink at the Bar & 2 times drinks at the Pool. As hoteliers with over 20 years of experience, we understand standards. This experience was not aligned with them. For this reason, we rated the hotel 1/10.
