It’s a hostel but they still ask for a deposit which you will only get after checkout. The only place during my Thailand trip that did that and was very annoying. Also the place seems clean but there were bugs around the bed area. Do not recommend..

I stayed at Mellow Poshtel in Kata for three nights, and it was amazing! Great atmosphere, comfortable stay, and a perfect location. The beach was only a short walk away too!

freshly renovated hostel, super comfortable and clean. it had all the comforts and the bathroom was very spacious and convenient. staff super nice and helpful! ah elevator would have been nice

Place is new. Prem the owner is very nice and service oriented. Slept in a comfortable top bed in. 4 female room, with stairs not ladder, which is wonderful. Bed sheets replaced every 3 fays. Towels replaced daily! The big lockers (supplied with a locker vs deposit) are perfect! My big luggage went inside + mochila bag + free shelf for all my stuff. Good water pressure, and warm water. Location is great. Abt 10 min walk from the beach, 2 nearby 711 shops, 2 very good restaurants (Lalanta and Red Chair). A lobby for guests. The no remote for the AC is also good. If you need to warm it up, open the balcony door. My bed sheets were not replaced as needed, every 3 days. Went to Prem and it was sorted out. So just make sure they change it for you. No biggy.

The bunk was mostly comfortable, but the mattress felt very thin. It wasn’t a big deal, I only felt it in the morning after being in bed for so long.

Great location and lots of potential It was dirty, it almost seemed as if they’ve never cleaned. You could hear the people move in their sleep because the beds were so loose. The staff were not helpful and made it feel as if they didn’t want you there. Not a social place at all.
