The Beach Heights Resort

The resort location is fantastic, with an overall amazing vibe, clean grounds, and fair pricing. It is very convenient, as many popular tourist attractions are just a short 4 to 5 km drive away. The service was lacking, as staff were often absent and reception responses were unhelpful—I had to order Halal food from outside and couldn't even get plates delivered to my room. Additionally, the rooms and washrooms felt outdated and were not well-cleaned.

Great location DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! The customer service is awful. I had a terrible experience with the front desk Ton. First, when I arrived they couldn’t find my reservation. They were being very pushy saying that I had mad the reservation on that day and I had to prove it was made two months before. On my reservation, my check in was at 2pm but they didn’t allow me to go to my room until 3pm. They also required 3000 THB in cash that no one told me about, and I had to withdraw with outrageous fees. They would not accept credit card for the deposit and I was never informed about it. This hotel is a zoo, totally messy!

They asked 3000 bath security deposit which not mentioned at the time of booking. They asked also 250 bath deposit just to have a second room entrance card. Reception staff was quite rude. Trainee staff that could not find our room at check-in. TV signal not working most of the times.

Great sized pool and huge room for the price. Great location, only 10 minute walk from Karon and Kata beach. Lots of restaurants, night market, massage parlours and bars very close by. Only one key card per room

The restaurant staff were very attentive and pleasant and made our stay more enjoyable. The rooms were badly in need if upgrading. The bathroom needed updating and the towels were very poor quality. Half of the gym equipment was broken and the pool needed work too. However we understand there is a new general manager who hopefully will attend to these issues.

The staff is a bit unprofessional and requires training. They would ask personal questions like where are we from when we were having breakfast etc. Also everyone knew that the breakfast timings were till 10:30 they would go to everyone individually around 10:20 asking we needed more food or anything. Super unprofessional. People who would be inside the breakfast hall were made to feel awkward as if the staff wanted us to leave by cleaning tables, taking the dishes off right in front of the guests. Have been to multiple hotels but never experienced something like this. Needs major improvement. Otherwise location and ambiance wise it was good.

Very good location near restaurants, shops bars and beach. Would benefit from more sun beds and increased sunbathing areas. Pool area is small. No options to buy drinks in the hotel in the evening. Seemed a little bizarre to me.

Location was great. Bedrunner was dirty but everything else was clean.

The location of the hotel is very close to all facilities and a 10 minute walk to the beach. The staff although scarce were very friendly. Free Wi-Fi throughout. All basic facilities were in place as described but in a terrible state of repair. Aircon, constantly breaking, mould on old damp window coverings, showeroom although sufficient, had little water pressure, mouldy silicone and very unclean. Clean linen daily although threadbare and sometimes with holes. Swimming pools only half working as the pumping and cleaning system was broken. A portable cleaner was used daily with the odd bucket of chlorine etc thrown in to balance readings. Childrens pools closed due to massive disrepair. The one and only main pool had mould, green and grime around all edges, with many many tiles missing and sharp edges everywhere. No waste bins anywhere on the pool area so most waste was left at the base of trees and remained there for a couple of days some times. Bar facilities were sporadic and expensive compared to neighbouring properties. Breakfasts , lovely staff but if you don’t like toast or an omelette with cornflakes for English or noodles and fried rice with salad for everyone else, then there’s nothing here for you to eat. We booked with a 50 % discount on previous prices and if this weren’t the case we would have asked for a refund.

The Hotel is in a reqlly bad shape. All the facilities are old fashion. The pictures that they show on the OTA’s aren’t state if things. Especially the gym.

nothing, absolutely nothing! everything that comes to staying in a hotel. claiming they are 4 start? joke, they must of been drawing this starts themselves! be lucky to get 2 starts in normal world. dirty where you look, pool tiles falling off, pool green stuff growing around, broken doors, broken aircon, everything old, asking for towels numbers time that we didn’t get 3 times 4 hours later those arrive…to name a few…disgusting. i cut my stay short as I couldn’t handle this place let alone travelling with 10 months old
