I moved to Ananta House after a disappointing first hotel and it ended up being the best value for money I found in Kathmandu. It’s simple but really clean and comfortable, with all the essentials like coffee, toiletries, and a good breakfast. The staff were friendly and the whole place felt calm and easy. Nothing fancy, but everything worked — and as a solo female traveller, I felt safe and comfortable throughout. I’d definitely stay again.

Good location a few minutes walk from where the tourist busses are leaving from. Clean rooms and very helpful and serviceminded staff.

Everything was great. Room was nice and quiet. Location was central and nearby everything needed. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Huge portions and delicious breakfast. It was my best stay in Napal.

It looked nice, every thing was clean and tight The noise it was the worst night sleep in Nepal and we have slept no where. The room was on a busy street with no isolation. The hotel manager knew about the problem but didn't fix it before. If it wasn't midnight that we arrived after a long inconvenience flight I would have left the hotel first moment I understood it.

Everything was clean and in good order. The breakfast choices were great. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and helpful. The location is excellent for staying in Thamel. Hotel staff even packed us a breakfast to go when we had to leave for an early morning flight. I really don’t have any suggestions for improvement.
