Nice staff Very good familiar hotel

Everything about the hotel exceeded our expectations! The facilities and cleanness were superb. Its location is perfect, in the heart of Thamel, close to everything but in an alley away from the noise of the neighborhood (definitely the best for resting). But above all, what truly stood out was the staff, specially Mr. Pravesh, an incredibly warm and attentive host. We had to check out very early, and he kindly prepared a packed breakfast for us to take on the way, which was such a thoughtful gesture! We originally booked just one night, but on our way back we decided to stay longer because we enjoyed it so much. We would definitely stay here again. We have stayed in many hotels over the years, and this was by far the best one in Kathmandu.

Super helpfull staff. Alythough the hotel is in the city center, it is located further from busy streets and is very quiet. It is not the first time we're in New Era, and it's nice to have same comfortable sleep.

Excellent location, quiet place to stay with great Wifi network in every corner of the hotel . Recommended for stay in centre of Thamel . Staffs are too attentive and will help you with every information required.

You can faintly hear some of the clubs in Thamel at night but it really wasn't that bad. If you are a light sleeper, a pair of ear plugs remedies the issue

This hotel was very peaceful and welcoming. If you prefer quiet luxury, this is the place. Everything felt well-designed and quiet. I had a good breakfast at just 4$. Overall experience was excellent.

Location is perfect, right in the centre of Thamel. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Looked after our bags for 16 day while we went on our hike. Room was big and the bed was very comfy as well.

Hotel New Era is the perfect place to relax clean rooms, calm atmosphere, and beautiful surroundings. The best part is the affordable price for such great quality and comfort. Truly amazing value for money. Highly recommended!

After conducting research, I selected Hotel New Era. I was highly impressed with its clean and comfortable rooms and additional facilities. I highly recommend it! What a gem of a hotel! From the efficient check-in/check-out process, each moment was delightful. Also, the hotel has a very secure and safe environment.

Excellent place. The rooms are clean and very nice. Hot shower 24 hours with good air condition facitities with 24 hours front desk, Despite the fact that the hotel is in the center of Thamel, Kathmandu it is very quiet and peaceful - perfect to take a little break from the noise of the city. Thank you again for your help and highly recommend to everyone! :)

We were really tired from our trip way back to Kathmandu. We booked the room at last minute and it was worth it. Exactly what we needed a nice hot shower and quiet place to relax. Highly recommended inside Thamel.

The staff at the Hotel New Era in Thamel were fantastic. Great attitude. Helpful and always available. The bed was super comfy. I will always stay at this location when traveling to Kathmandu.
