The staff were extremely helpful when I arrived from the airport I didn’t have any Nepali currency and I had to pay my taxi driver at the reception there was this wonderful sweet girl called Asha she just gave me the Nepali currency and said I can later change and give it back. The guy at the reception was also nice because after changing the money when I got back to the hotel Asha already let and it was Shankar he was very helpful too because my room was up on 6th floor and he helped me to carry my heavy luggage all the way up. The location is excellent as you are close to everything Nothing like that because I was mostly out and then came and crashed and left very early in the morning so it was only for a night I stayed

Good location right in the middle of Thamel. Helpful staff. Cleanliness was decent. Lots of stairs - they did help carry my luggage up them but it is a bit tiring to have to climb them to get to your room. Poor sound and other insulation - my room was next to a patio where people would talk loudly or smoke and the sounds and smells would get into my room.

The hostel was clean, comfortable, and had a great atmosphere, staff. But the best part was the staff especially Amrit, who went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. In my opinion Nepalaya Home Hostel is one of the best budget accommodations in Kathmandu. it's clean, pleasant, and offers excellent value for money What genuinely distinguishes it is the amazing hospitality, particularly of Amrit the hard work guy always smiling and always provide problem solving ideas for guests. His warm welcome, friendly demeanor, and genuine concern for guests make you feel right at home. He never fails to be willing to help, whether you need travel advice or simply want to talk everyone becomes friends so fast with him . This hostel is an excellent alternative for budget tourists due to its pleasant environment, friendly environment and convenient location. Highly recommended!
