The location is excellent - close enough to walk to everything, with restaurants, shops, and laundry services nearby, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and relaxing. We always felt safe walking around the area, and one of our favourite things was simply wandering through the streets of Thamel and beyond, soaking up the daily life and atmosphere of Kathmandu. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The rooftop area was also a lovely place to unwind. What really made our stay special, however, was the hospitality. Ashish and his team were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Whether we needed local information, recommendations, or assistance with travel arrangements, nothing was ever too much trouble. Their genuine warmth and attentiveness made us feel valued as guests from the moment we arrived. Prabin was especially lovely and always greeted us with a smile. A fantastic hotel with excellent service, a great location, and a warm, personal touch. Highly recommended.

Great rooms and wonderful location on a quiet street in Thamel. Close to shops and good restaurants. Spacious and clean rooms, good breakfast. Owners were helpful and kind when asked for recs in the area.

The property was incredibly beautiful, located on a side street but still close to everything in Thamel that you might need. And it was very quiet. I requested a high floor, and they gave me an amazing room on the highest floor. The staff was incredible. So friendly, helpful, accommodating, and made it a great experience.

Located in Thamel, but in a quiet zone. Stuff very friendly, polite, ready to help. Breakfast is great, more than enough to start the day. Clean. Water pressure and AC worked great. Price reasonable.

The quiet location, the customer service was excellent. I appreciated the warm welcome with a watermelon drink. I was educated about things to do, the roof top is a great place to chill out and watch the sun rise. The water pressure was the best. Everything was perfect

The staff at Vastu were so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, in Thamel but away from the busy main streets. The room was lovely and cosy, and a delicious breakfast! Would recommend to anyone staying in Kathmandu!

The ambience, and the overall atmosphere. There’s nothing as such to dislike.

Room was clean. Breakfast was fine - you order off a menu, but plenty of food was provided. Onsite manager seemed eager to help provide tips and resources. Price is also good. Street dogs barking kept us up at night, although its not the hotel's fault. The entire street was also being torn up, which reduced street noise but also made it difficult to get in and out of the hotel. The room is small (shower especially so) and felt a bit cave like. Smoke from tables outside at ground level entered our room through the vents.

It’s a beautiful hotel, location is great, just a 5 min walk to the center of Thamel. Very clean, the rooms are small but you don’t really need more than that, the bed is the best part, it is huge and soooo comfortable.

This small, lovely hotel was delightful. It had a fresh decor with pleasant setting for an excellent free personalize breakfast. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The elevator was just what we needed. Ashish who greeted us made us feel so welcome and was helpful with everything we needed. He should give lessons in customer service - informative and personable. If you need to organize a trek or a massage, he can Help. Thank you Ashish and the staff. We were lucky our flight to Lukla was delayed so we could stay with you.

The room was very clean and exactly how it was described. The breakfast included was amazing, and staff even pack you a to-go breakfast if you have an early morning start. Staff are also very friendly and helpful with recommendations on places to go, things to see and food. Not applicable !

Great location on a quiet street within the Thamel district. Very comfortable, spacious rooms with excellent breakfast. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff always willing to go above and beyond to make sure guests have a great experience. We’d love to come back!
