I like the serene outlook of the hotel. It has a calm vibe due to lightings. It is also near the center or in the center of Thamel. Staffs are great. Although few selections for bfast but they're good. It is located in a small alley and you will not find it easily. The hotel sign is on ground level unlike other hotels which is on rooftop level. But it is not a big deal.

I stayed in two different rooms and one was considerably nicer than the other. The staff was super accommodating. I recommend booking on booking.com first than directly with that hotel because then you'll get a free breakfast for less overall cost. Attached spa was amazing.

Nothing. Hotel was inexpensive, but nonetheless fell far short of basic expectations. To call it “run-down” would an understatement. The room didn’t have a tv remote control (they then brought me one), the shower head was broken in half (they replaced it when I asked) and the refrigerator did not work. And the offerings for breakfast were a joke.

Warm staff, professionalism, the room was clean and felt home, the food and ambience was great. We really enjoyed our stay felt home. Convey our heartfelt thank you to all the staff that looked after us. From the food to the warmth that all of the staff showed and served was indeed the best highlight for us. Spa was amazing with experienced professionals with affordable price compared to others. We will definitely recommend kantipur village to everyone that we know. Regards N/A

Water sometimes remained lukewarm instead of getting hot. Also, despite confirming three times with the front desk that I needed a taxi for 445am to get to the airport by 5, when I came down they said “did you need a taxi for 445 or 545?” If they didn’t remember, they should’ve asked me instead of waiting til the morning of departure. Because the taxi didn’t come for 15 minutes, it threw off my entire airport situation. Basically, the line for check in was so long/moving so slowly, that I didn’t get to security til 640, and boarding started at 655. I was not able to buy a water or breakfast at the airport before my long flight like I would’ve been able to had they asked me to confirm the time.

Tucked away from busy main street. Rooms are clean and spacious. Few minutes walk to Kathmandu Durbar. Good sleep and feel safe even there were the protest going on outside. Breakfast is good. Staffs are very attentive and welcoming None. Only we were here during the protest :(

The property was clean, the staff were very nice and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. Everyone went out of their way to make sure our stay was excellent. Nothing. Everything was nice.

I think the staff was great, we didn't have our breakfast so they made the coffee we ordered complimentary. They also remembered that it was our second time. My partner was annoyed with the AC going on and off - it got really hot!! The hotel also had a bunch of tourists that made so much noise at 5 in the morning so definitely ask to place you in a quieter floor, the staff is great and I'm sure they'll oblige.

The staff is very nice, very accommodating, making a lot of efforts to help the guests feel comfortable. Beds were the most comfortable we had during our stay in Nepal, although at first we found them a bit narrow for a 4-star hotel, but they were much better than the beds in the other hotels, which were more expensive. Of all the 4 hotels we stayed at during our stay, this one was the best, also in terms of value. We returned to Kantipur village before flying out, canceling the other hotel that was closer to the airport. Breakfast is absolutely great, the best one we had, including espresso and Nepali tea for no extra charge! We hope this hotel will continue to improve and offer good quality services. Thank you very much! Housekeeping could be better. The room was a bit dusty and the floor never properly cleaned but it's how it is everywhere, it seems. I am sure the staff will take measures to improve.

Excellent communication. My flight was delayed 24hrs so they transferred the night I wasn’t there to a night two weeks later Greatly appreciated Also organised transport from airport $10US. The breakfast was ok. But went elsewhere on the morning it wasn’t included
