- Location: 15 minutes drive from airport (unless if its traffic or heavy rains resulting in additional 25 minutes). Plus, 15 minutes walk to Durbar Square and is surrounded by several souvenir shops; eateries; money exchange etc. - Food: Their menu is good. I enjoyed their Jhol Momos; Nepali Khaana Set and Fish Curry with Rice. - Breakfast: Decent options (some of the items were not suitable for me - personal choice!) - Breakfast options can be better. If the guests don't like something, they should be in a position to give them something as per their liking.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Nirvana Garden during our Nepal trip. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. Housekeeping and room service were prompt and reliable. One thing we really appreciated was the availability of clean drinking water, which was very convenient for travellers. Their restaurant was also excellent — good food quality, wide menu variety, and prices were quite reasonable. The garden restaurant area was peaceful and added a very relaxing vibe after long sightseeing days. The hotel’s location in Thamel is another major advantage — close to markets, restaurants, and easily accessible for sightseeing. They also provide very helpful travel-related services such as taxi bookings, airport shuttle arrangements, money exchange, and tour assistance, which made our trip much smoother. Overall, a great value-for-money hotel with excellent service, location, and hospitality. Would definitely recommend it to couples, families, and travellers visiting Kathmandu.

The staff were super, it saved the experience. The breakfast is good and generous. The location is great In a very busy place, it is very quiet at night. It was probably the dirtiest place I’ve stayed in years. I had to change rooms because the floors were dirty. The whole hotel needs a good cleaning. All the fixtures for the electricity have not been washed for a long time. The furniture in and out is old and stained.

A really comfortable hotel in a great location - in the heart of Thamel in Kathmandu. The room was clean, equipped, the bed was very comfy, and the breakfast was delicious - such a variety of choices every day. But the main important part of the experience was very helpful and friendly staff. Great value for money. It took a while for water to hit up (but you can get used to it). It was also a bit uncomfortable to take out the suitcase down from the fourth floor as there is no elevator. But those are minor things.

All the Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with planning buses and places to go. Being picked up from the airport was a huge plus as we arrived very late at night. They also organised our phones. Made our stay very enjoyable. Location of Jampa is the best thing ever. It was easy to find our way around and quiet at night time. Nothing to not like

Nirvana Boutique Hotel is a magical place in the center of Thamel - highly recommend! Upon arrival, Balram will greet you and is the kindest person ever. Definitely made my time in Kathmandu special. The garden in the backyard is great for leisure time :)
