Breakfast was served as per the order. We like the French Press Coffee, scrambled egg, toast & sausages at the sunny courtyard. I & family were delighted to locate this hotel in busy Ktm. All shops, ATM were within the hotel radius. Evening view from the room was fantastic. Swayambhu Temple & valley view. Nothing we can think of. It was simply perfect.

We have to leave eary at 6:30 a.m to catch the bus to Pokhra. So we had packed breakfast instead. So there is not much we can comment about the breakfast. The room is a bit tiny and dark. Since we were staying for only 1 night we didn't bother to ask for another room. The hotel is tucked in corner location in Thamel so it is a bit difficult to find.

It was à pleasure to stay in this hôtel with à fruendly staff and à familiar atmosphère. The housekeeping needs some encouragement... Very few housekeeping...

The location is smack bang in the middle of Thamel, tourist area. For being right in the busy part of the town the room was very quiet. The hotel although older was very clean and an effort by staff to make it "nice". The staff were awesome about making me a good vegetarian breakfast that was both delicious and fresh. The room size was very good and the linen clean and fresh (not always the case in Nepal!). Being an older hotel the bathroom fittings were a bit broken but still functional. Although right in the middle of the tourist area is great somehow the Hotel was a bit lost and not easy to find if you did not know it was there.

A haven in the middle of bustling Thamel. Heritage building with lots of character. Super friendly staff that will tend to all your needs. Breakfast served in the sunny house garden, that is also a great place to work and chill. Spacious rooms, great value for money. Most guests are regulars that make this place their home when in Kathmandu As anywhere else in this neighborhood, there is the noise from clubs and bars. Back rooms are quieter. Ask Bicky at reception to help you choose your best room (#304 and #404 are my favorites)

homey feel. great breakfast, sunny inner courtyard ideal to read, work or chill. very friendly staff the central location is great but that means proximity to bars and clubs. the rooms at the front can be a bit noisy on weekends
