Breakfast was one of the best I ever had and thanks for the team for such a beautiful breakfast The location is perfect quite and closed to tourist bus park you can get a tourist bus ticket directly from hotel in reasonable price.
-
Great location just a two minute walk from Thamel on a very quiet side street. Also, the rooftop restaurant has excellent food with an excellent view.

Cheap. Comfortable bed. Next to bus station (good if taking bus to Pokhara) Didn’t like the location Too many stairs up to my room

I loved the way they tried to support my requests. My wife was also in the city but staying in another hotel for her training. They allowed her as a guest to stay as I informed them early from the booking. Like the washroom water, drinking water should be a necessary supply for free too. The room Was really cold as the wind was coming from the gap below the door r44

Very close to tourist bus stop. Younger staff were pleasant. Hot shower. Fruit in room. I booked a deluxe double room, but it was dirty, the sheets and pillows were stained (description said feather pillow,- not true)the ceiling fan so noisy I couldn't use it. The showerhead was rusty, a dead cockroach on the bathroom floor. The sofa had a huge tear in it, there wasn't a wardrobe or closet as stated on the description. Part of the room appears to have once been a kitchen. No bottle of water in room, as stated, the hotel appears to be selling it in reception. The wall sockets were grimy, one light not working. Loud street noise from 4a.m. I had to leave at 06.30 a.m for the tourist bus.Was offered breakfast for 6a.m. I went to the restaurant at 6 - no one there. Went to reception- very limited English spoken. Knock on door at 06.12 - breakfast. Too late by then so I didn't bother.

Good value, spacious and well furnished room just outside the main tourist area of Thamel. It was noisy outside the hotel during both the day and night but this might have been due to the Dashain festival which was happening.
-
Good location, 10 min to Thamel, 5 min to Pokhara Bus, 40 min to Monkey Temple.

I had an exceptional stay at Metro Eco Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and treated me like family. The room was clean, tidy, and very comfortable. There was a nice view from the top of the building and a beautiful temple nearby. Highly recommend this hotel for a welcoming and pleasant stay!

Location it's excellent! Just a few minutes walk to Thamel but it's in a little local community that was interesting and nice to experience = families and kids connecting all day/into the evening ...no one trying to sell you tiger balm or a tour. Just a lovely community. The family run hotel is the best value if you want a private room with private en suite bathroom. I paid the same for a dorm room in Thamel. I was given the first floor and there are 6 or 7 floor with no elevator/lift... Breakfast was included in my rate and it was excellent ...but on the top floor. My first morning the phone in my room rang at 8:15 asking me to come now for breakfast. The daughter and son are very helpful and speak English. The son helped me get a taxi to my next location. The hotel is inside a courtyard...if you arrive by taxi you'll be let off at the street...continue inside the alley and then turn left. The hotel is just 30m on the left ...not really easy to see the signs but there are lots of windows and a reception desk. The wifi worked great on my floor. On the roof they have other wifi routers, also worked great. Also if you're taking the bus to Pokhara, this is just a few minutes walk to that bus station. I didn't really understand the front door situation. A few times during the day I came back and it was locked ...I rang a bell and after a few minutes someone came. I don't know about evenings as I was in early each night. Maybe they can put a sign ...apparently there's another door to use.
