I liked the room quite and balcony .it was loud at mornings in the first floor from the lobby. Probably better to get a room in the higher floors.

The staff is very kind, friendly and helpful. They look after you and make you feel very comfortable. The location is just great, just some steps away from busy Thamel area but close enough to get everywhere at a walking distance. The room was all good but it could be a bit more clean

The manager was very helpful. Location central yet fairly quiet. Room in need of some TLC - for example, lots of stains over the wall by the bed, which made it feel unclean. Big hole in the bathroom wall too

The owner and its employees are very, very nice and helpful. The location is very close to the busy part of Thamel, but not too close, meaning it is quiet but still close to all the good restaurants of Thamel. Roof terrace is nice, too. Limited options for food offered by the hotel, and room/bathroom were "clean enough".

The location was perfect (a bit tricky to find the first time though). Just across the road from Thamel, so quiet, but close to everything. The staff were super friendly and Saput (the owner) was so kind, patient and helpful. I arrived with no plans and he sat with me with a map to help me organise my time in Nepal. As an older solo traveller, the place was safe, calm, and very chill. Definitely not a party or super social hostel/hotel N/A

Location is perfect; in a quiet alley close to Thamel road, shops and restaurants, easy access to all atractions of the city walking or by public transport. Rooms are big, clean and comfortable, breakfast was simple but enought. The best part is the staff's attention, they were always kind and so helpful, specially saput the manager, he helped me to get around and plan all my activities and transports. I would definitely come back and recommend it Nothing, everything works perfect

The rooms were neat and clean. The manager Mr.Saput was extremely helpful for planning and booking stuff during our stay in Kathmandu. The other staff were also polite and nice to deal with. And the property is just 2-3 mins away from Thamel street which was great!

The Avalon House is a real good hostel. The Staff was realy kind and helpful. They could answer every question and also guided us to the bus, when we hat to go to Pokhara. We had a big and comfortable room withe a great view over Kathmandu. There was always hot water but the pressure was not that strong. The hot water came slow.

Host (hard working, respective and experienced man), Hotel Team that always ready to help. The view from balcony, clean beds, all services are very respectful and subtle, you feel safe inside. It is close to tourist spots, but i never heard traffic noise and never saw shady persons around. I wish this place all the best.
