Palacio Royale Inn Signature Katy

I stay here pretty regularly. When I checked in, the woman at the desk was very pleadant, helpful, efficient...such a joy! In contrast (unfortunately) *sigh..... the young man that came to help us with the TV. Well. He was extremely rude. Bad. He was not helpful, he was sarcastic, argumentative, He literally walked away while i was talking to him, walked out and slammed the door. He lied to us. It was really awful. Im quite certain that I won't be back. Important note: I gave them several 2s and 3s. The woman there when I checked in....SOLID 5. Wonderful! She should be mad that he single-handedly brought all of the scores down.

There is actually nothing to like about "Palacio Royal". Have a look at the attached room pictures. I have travelled a lot during the last decade and I have a lot of patience, but this was definitely unacceptable. Only positive aspect: the staff safely received, stored and handed out a package that I had ordered upfront to be delivered to the hotel (but that is what you should expect). The attached pictures speak for themselves: Torn curtains, a dirty floor, a chair even more battered than the back seat of an old taxi—complete with strands of hair left by previous guests—and worn, unclean bed linen; not to mention the bad odor in the hallway and the room itself. If this is a "Palacio Royal," then I’d prefer a barn on a farm. I checked out just 15 minutes after arriving; I didn't even dare use the toilet (despite having just finished a long journey).

The hot tub was one thing that I really enjoyed and I loved how they worship God this morning on Sunday but I highly recommend they get king pillows, new curtains , comforter sets wall decor up to date lamps and a better cleaning crew the trash was always overlooked and that’s not good and the pool had a lock on it ok ✅

The pool was fine. There was a super strong to wet smell in the room and the corridors, the sink was not working, it would not really come back.

Location There is a smell in the hallways

The property did not have hot water all weekend. Being a below the knee amputee I requested a shower chair (not that I could have used it) and was told “l don’t have access to that you have to ask housekeeping”. Needless to say my fiancée and I took bird baths all weekend.

the room was cleaned and well stocked but the issue that bothered me was no hot water for 2 days and the laundry was out of order and had to walk to the other building

The location It was a bit mildew smelling and dusty, Stained fabrick on couch covered with cloth, carpet in stair well was dirty. I Use to love this place but it's not as great. Now

Location Always a problem have stayed here several times either the elevators are Always down this time no hot water i feel like we should have been told about this problem instead they gave us our room we didn't discover until late that evening.

Nothing to highlight The smell of the property is horrible and overall doesn't feel clean.
