The location is not too far from the station. Very quiet, safe. We were able to come in and out of the building at all hours. The place looks beautiful, every thing is so nice and clean. The staff were really nice and great! Great wi-fi as well! I felt we were the loudest there, it’s extremely quit so opening zippers sounds loud. But that’s a good thing for so many people.

At the last two nights of our trip in Tokyo, we chose to stay here because it's close to Haneda Airport and a taxi ride would only be about 6,000yen. Rates are cheaper as well compared to central Tokyo. Getting to Tokyo and Yokohama/Kamakura is easy with a quick walk to JR Kawasaki station. Lots of restaurants, groceries, as well as shops that are open late for last minute souvenir shopping. The lobby and common area is nice and spacious with lots of desk space and seats to lounge and work on. Drink vending machine is available there. The private rooms we booked are a good size and each had its own air conditioning, so no worries about centralized air conditioning. The beds are very comfy, maybe the best out of all the other HOTEL + HOSTEL properties we stayed at. Would stay here again if I am flying out early from Haneda Airport or want to explore Kanagawa and Atami/Sagami Bay. You will be using traditional keys to access your room and turn on the power. You have to leave your key at the front desk whenever you go out. When you return, you provide your room number and name to get your key back. A little inconvenient, but it's okay. Room is a little old but well-maintained.

Noises

Very convenient location! Literally walking distance to the event I was going to at Club Citta! The facilities were all clean and safe! Nice manga section at the basement! And very comfortable to sleep in too! Staff were generally nice and always kept watching over our keys whenever we went out! Maybe the fact that luggages aren’t allowed to be stored at the place after check out. But I understand space is limited, and difficult to maintain cleanliness there. I got static electricity there whenever I used the key to open the main door. But that’s more of a me thing. There are plenty of lockers available for luggages of all sizes at Kawasaki station and also the next station at Yokohama! And plus the next destination I was going to was closer to Yokohama than Kawasaki.

The bunk beds were so comfy. I rested like a baby after arriving in Tokyo. Super clean, ample space for luggage in front of the beds, a secure locker next to your bed. The shared bathrooms had a beautiful design and was kept very clean. Completely spotless. There's a quite a lot of washing machines (suprisingly) and a common area in the basement floor where you can read manga, work at a desk and eat (there's a microwave and kettle, mini kitchenette if you will). I can imagine there won't be much issue with crowding with doing the laundry. There's also a common area with a vending machine - where the reception is - if you prefer to work by the windows. I struggled to get water - no coins in hand nor Alipay for the vending machine - and realised it's a 3 min walk to the nearest 7 Eleven. It definitely hits different to be getting water at 1am - the convenience is there if you are hungry after a long flight. I only stayed 1 night, so can't say much more after a brief exploration prior to leaving, but had I planned to stay in Tokyo, this hostel would be an excellent option. The 3 other guests I stayed with were very respectful and kept noise to a minimum, which is the most ideal for any guest staying in a hostel/capsule room. Honestly, it's a dream. Hard to find. I got to the city by 10pm and at that point was panicking about the check in - it took an hour to find the hostel but according to maps it's only a subway ride away. Luckily and suprisingly the streets are very much alive at 11pm - could not believe the subway is still running. Just be aware of potentially struggling if this is your first time in Tokyo/Japan as this is hard to find. The door handles are a bit tricky - you have to insert the key and twist it, holding this position whilst use another hand to pull the door. Makes it difficult if you have your hands full and might cause more noise than necessary. Though I understand this is likely for security purposes.

The best thing is its location. 10 minutes walking from main station. Facility: Single room is compact but with everything common hostel offers. Advanced key which is designed with some weight in case you forget. Hot water 24 hours.

Unable to storage your luggages ever if they have space.
