Loved the location and the staff were wonderful. The evening dinner was very good. Parts of the hotel were alittle tired and while the room had a kettle and cups for tea and coffee, i would suggest including some glasses for water.

Location was great Beds uncomfortable, Interiors dated, Breakfast was delivered cold, Room had cobwebs and dust

Poor

Its location and classic building were great Some evidence of things regarding attention eg shower broken and garden furniture looking dated and tired. Also only slim line tonic available in the bar - really
-
Convenient location for our requirements Building a tired. Gardens need some tidying up.food over priced for quality. Bed was two single pushed together 2 mattresses and uneven levels

The location is fantastic. The EV chargers were not working but there was no signage to say that this was the case. The bar is a mess - chronically understaffed and in dire need of refurbishment. The bed was unbelievably uncomfortable. We hardly slept a wink. The breakfast was worse than ordinary - we literally didn’t like anything that was served up.
-
Lovely room, spotlessly clean. Quality of the food was excellent - I would really recommend

Location in town centre. Suite in the Orangerie was very roomy and pleasant. It’s a glorious building but so lacking in atmosphere - it could be so much more impressive.

Beautiful setting! Nothing!

Locatio Bedrooom was not upto Premierinn standard bed was low and uncomfortable bedroom was cold all night because window was fastened open bathroom was lovely Staff friendly My wife took ill on the first night so we had to leave on the Saturday morning Breakfast was not good hot food was like eating tasteless plastic orange juice was lovely

Beautiful views from the bedroom window and the restaurant. Access to gardens was great from the restaurant and bar. Beautiful lounges, great features in each. Dinner was excellent. The pillows were very uncomfortable and difficult to position for comfort. We went down towards the end of breakfast service and saw only 1 jug of milk, so I presumed there was no oat milk. I am dairy intolerant so I had to miss out the cereal. The cooked breakfast was advertised as freshly cooked to order so when it took a little time to be served I thought nothing of it. However, when it arrived it was dry as if it had been kept warm in a hot plate. The beans were congealed, the bacon dry and the sausage tough to chew.

The situation was superb and the staff very helpful. The dinning rooms public areas etc were very tastefully decorated. The barman was splendid and was very helpful. In my single room no 1 it was difficult to operate the shower head as 2 showers plus bath water were operated by same mechanism, and temperature control was non existent. My outlook was also rather drab and there was no wardrobe.area for hanging clothes. These were little problems which can be easily rectified

Good location , good food , room clean but not great location Room was the furthest from restaurant . Breakfast staff rude and ill-mannered and didn’t speak appropriately to us and it took 35 minutes to get more food
