The location and the staff and the common area are the most importantly to us , the staff are always friendly and helpful The beds need either mattress toppers or new mattresses they can be a bit firm for my liking, the bathrooms although spotless could do with modernising

We liked the location in the square and the wider area. the staff were friendly and helpful. the room was a good size. THe evening was good and the breakfast had good choice. The room was unbearably warm during the night and the small fan cooler was inadequate and noisy. The bathroom had a shower over the bath which is not so good nowadays or for older people. Could have been told about the extra pillows at the reception.

Excellent location just what we wanted

The food at breakfast & dinner was excellent & the lounge & dining area was tastefully decorated. Staff were very warm & attentive. Perfect location in the centre of a lovely town. Bedroom was a little tired in comparison to the lounge & dining areas, it was functional but could do with a refresh. WiFi was intermittent.

Well situated in the mains square. Breakfast choie okay if a bit limited. Room seemed to be almost refurbished! Still needed some further work to update it. Stair carpet a bit worn. beyond first floor.
