My Place Hotel - Ketchikan, AK

Room was WAY too hot and could not be controlled by the control keys on the unit. For the money paid, this should not be an issue.

Great location near the airport and a grocery store, which made the stay very convenient. The hotel was clean, and the amenities provided everything I needed for a comfortable visit. Overall, it was a pleasant and practical place to stay.

My room was clean and had what I needed for my stay.

Excellent front office staff. So willing to help with baggage assistance or other needs.

Clean room, convenient location (walking distance to airport and Alaska state ferry). Great market close by (A&P) with coffee, breakfast, groceries. Frequent $2 bus to downtown Ketchikan.

Price a little high.

This was my first visit to Ketchikan. I spent about six nights here to see the sights and visit a friend that was working a seasonal job in town. The hotel is a short 7-10 min walk from the airport ferry. Check in was a breeze and the staff was very friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The room was clean and well appointed with a full sized refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable as well. A few other nice things about My Place hotel is that, while it's located a couple miles outside of town, there's a grocery store and a restaurant nearby. Additionally, there's a bus stop just across the street from the hotel and the city bus service was convenient even though the buses were often delayed 5-10 minutes. I'd definitely consider staying here again. There isn't a restaurant/breakfast offered at the hotel though they do have some food and supplies available for purchase in the lobby. Also, my room had a stove yet there were no pots, pans, dishes, or silverware in the room. The last thing to mention is that the housekeeping service is every four days. Just something to keep in mind.

Great location - can walk from the ferry if needed / not too much gear. Great grocery store and deli food steps away. Friendly staff.

It was very nice and clean. The only negative of my stay was the refrigerator was noisy. The staff was wonderful.
